We have stayed here a couple of times when going to events at Alexandra Palace. It is well placed, always clean and tidy and the rooms are well presented and free wifi is always useful. It was relatively quiet at night. It is only about a 15min walk to Alexandra Palace which is easy and there was someone on reception... More

We booked a single night at the Roseview Hotel, not knowing too much about it. I was a bit concerned it wouldn't be too great, a bit shabby, perhaps even really poor. As a result, we also booked a night elsewhere, just in case. I wish we hadn't! This place was wonderful. We got a private parking space right next... More

My son's 18th birthday... party at home, we had been out for dinner and watched flamenco at Saddlers Wells, called home 'can we come home?' No was the answer, so we had an unexpected night in a pleasenant room, with ensuit.....had a blissful nights sleep and no children!! All clean and as you would expect. M x

The Staff were friendly and polite. The room had all the facilities required. Complimentary breakfast was not particularly exciting, but as part of the package, it was great value. We had a family room that comprised 2 double and a single bed, which was perfect for our situation. Limited parking could be a problem. The hotel is to be recommended.

For a reasonably priced place to stay near Alexandra Palace, the Roseview is good. It was very conveniently situated in the middle of Muswell Hill, just steps from shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable with helpful friendly staff. It's not beautiful inside, a bit dated but if you value cleanliness and convenience over decor, it's fine. Shame the... More

Very helpful and courteous reception. Room was clean and comfortable, although noisy from the busy road. The courtyard garden was a very attractive place to sit, although, since it was directly below my room, on a hot night the necessarily open window meant that the cigarette smoke drifted into my room until late at night. Difficult to solve that problem... More

Believe the negative comments made by others. Standards are very very poor. Run down and very tired looking, cleanliness didn't seem to be a priority, sink basin was in a dangerous state in room 105, breakfast were poor and of cheap ingredients, poor service. Highly unlikely that anyone returns to this establishment. There must be better alternatives in the area.

Having read other reviews it seems this B&B wants to punch above its weight... my advice is don't. As a B&B everything was quite acceptable, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable but if you want to call yourself a hotel then everything changes, cracked floor tiles, WiFi not working in my room and all the little niggles... Other people may have a different experience, but this is genuinely what we found. We have just returned from a weekend stay at this, so called, hotel: "very disappointed" is inadequate. The website offers a stay in elegant and stylish surroundings; all I can say is that my definition of stylish must be different. Due to the proprietors refusing to... More

This pleasent and comfortable hotel is situated in Muswell Hill, a few meters from the busstop to central London. The Tube is also not far by bus, though not next door. THe rooms are cozy and spacious and the welcome is friendly, the luscious english breakfast is also an important plus.
