I recently stayed here for a couple of nights (in a single room) and have already booked to go back again. The hotel is a house converted into a hotel so the rooms are not your standard hotel rooms in size and shape but have a cosy homely feel. They are a little smaller than some places I've stayed but... We were visiting our daughter in Finsbury Park and were recommended this hotel. It was superb on W7 bus run direct to finsbury park and ran so regularly. Lovely family hotel with a friendly feel. Rooms spacious and lovely and clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast fine.

DO NOT BE A SECOND LATE FOR BREAKFAST - I went down at 9.28 (the clocks had gone forward so I thought I had done well) sat in dining room when waitress came out she said I was too late, when I pointed out I was there before 9.30 but she had been in the kitchen and didn't see me... More

I am sorry to hear that your stay was spoilt by one incident. However, this happened on the first morning of your stay and you did manage to be seated and place your order before 9:30 on the other mornings. One a more positive note, I am pleased to read that you mentioned that our "staff were good" and that... More

My family stayed in a large family room. It suited us perfectly - clean and comfortable beds. Nice shower gels were provided and the room was fresh and had all the facilities we needed. Nice and warm for us - we had family from Thailand staying so were worried it might be chilly at night - no such worries- lovely... More

I needed a place to stay at the last minute in Muswell Hill area of north London and this was one of the few places with rooms. If you need a place to stay for a night, it is fine. If you are looking for luxury or even just looked after, then it isn't so great. The things that worked... More

Thank you for your positive comments on the tv, bed linen and location of our hotel. Just to confirm that all of our bedroom doors do lock automatically from the outside when they are closed. If this was a concern for you, you should have called down to reception to double check, especially as you had mentioned that the staff... More

A brillant hotel with comfortable beds and modern rooms. The service of the staff is friendly and proffessional. A nice comfortable bar area and a seperate breakfast-room that offers a good sturdy breakfast. Good location to busses and tubes to reach the West End. Muswell Hill offers plenty of good restaurants and pubs. You will be seeing us Swedes again... More

My family and myself come to London regulalry. Our stay in the Roseview in Muswell Hill is based on location location location and it's proximity to Alexander Palace where many events and conferences, exhibitions are held. We would class Roseview as an average 3 star- it is what it is, a small boutique hotel which is non pretentious and has... More

Hotels in Muswell Hill are very strange, some pretentious and expensive (Raglan Hall) and some dreadful. The Roseview seemed recommended though so I booked up (for one night) and duly arrived two weeks later. First impressions - bad. Receptionist told me that there was no room reserved for us! Eventually uncovered the booking but the room had been sold twice.... More

I am sorry to hear that your stay with us was spoilt by an issue with the heating in your room. It was in fact the night manager who called your room to ask you if they could enter your room to fix it for you. However you declined. On a more positive note, I am glad to hear that... More
