We stayed here for New Year's Eve. The management was helpful, there was some construction going on in our building, but we didn't hear any noise. The bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything you would need to cook and eat, and the decor was nice. The only problem we had was there was a washer, but no dryer; so we... More

Room was lovely, was what we were expecting, all kitted out for cooking and eating, no complaints there. However the man on reception was incredibly rude, blunt and impatient when we checked in, plus he wasn't even there even though the reception should have been open. We booked through booking.com which take your credit card details but don't actually charge... More

The pictures on the hotel's website must VERY old because the building is now very shabby and dilapidated. The paint is peeling everywhere outside and plants and weeds are even growing out of the brickwork (see photos), all of which is very depressing and not at all welcoming to guests. "Oxbridge" is a combination of the words "Oxford" and "Cambridge"... More

My husband & I are older travelers and have stayed at the Oxbridge several times. We have always found the accommodations great even during their remodeling phase. The apartments are clean, modern, close to a Sainsbury's Grocery, the Tube, and within walking distance of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We would definitely stay again when we return to England. Also, the... More

We have stayed here twice, once back a few months. The wifi didn't work. We complained and they gave us a free night. So we came back and stayed for a week. And I'd stay again. As other reviewers have pointed out, unless you are staying in the executive rooms, you won't get what you see on their website. This... More

after booking this apartment I received a phone call from the manager who stated that he only had a basic apartment available, not an executive apartment which is shown on the website. as I had nowhere else to stay at short notice I accepted his offer. apartment was spacious but grubby, I wouldn't have washed my dog in the bath.... Hi There, I saw the review earlier about flat pictures what you see on the website is different from actual flat itself….. I like to say even I thought the same but when I went to this apartment then I ask the same thing, then they told me the pictures what you see on the website is executive flat pictures... More

We went for holiday for one week, this place recommended by my friend it’s a nice place with very good location and nice staff. We enjoyed our stay with huge Sainsbury very near to it and underground train station. It was nice experience to us anyway.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
