My husband & I are older travelers and have stayed at the Oxbridge several times. We have always found the accommodations great even during their remodeling phase. The apartments are clean, modern, close to a Sainsbury's Grocery, the Tube, and within walking distance of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We would definitely stay again when we return to England. Also, the... More

We have stayed here twice, once back a few months. The wifi didn't work. We complained and they gave us a free night. So we came back and stayed for a week. And I'd stay again. As other reviewers have pointed out, unless you are staying in the executive rooms, you won't get what you see on their website. This... More

after booking this apartment I received a phone call from the manager who stated that he only had a basic apartment available, not an executive apartment which is shown on the website. as I had nowhere else to stay at short notice I accepted his offer. apartment was spacious but grubby, I wouldn't have washed my dog in the bath.... Hi There, I saw the review earlier about flat pictures what you see on the website is different from actual flat itself….. I like to say even I thought the same but when I went to this apartment then I ask the same thing, then they told me the pictures what you see on the website is executive flat pictures... More

We went for holiday for one week, this place recommended by my friend it’s a nice place with very good location and nice staff. We enjoyed our stay with huge Sainsbury very near to it and underground train station. It was nice experience to us anyway.

and they have staff members putting positive reviews on Google - see "Osman's" review. the place is in a good location but it's certainly overpriced and not at all what they advertise on their website. there are no leather couches, glass tables, etc. the internet NEVER works (i had to go out and buy a separate wireless service) and the... Their website is totally misleading, the rooms are NOTHING like that advertised. The room was so dirty there were long black cobwebs hanging from the corners. We also had several visits from roaches - I've never experienced THAT before in a room in London!! The cold air coming through the dilapidated window frame necessitated wearing clothes in bed - it... We stayed there for a week a party of five, the apartment was basic but very clean, with half maid service daily, situation was perfect near from underground (5min) and sainsbury (30sec). Friendly service. Would definitely come back and stay in the same flat there cause cheap for london and nice apartments (even though the one we stayed in was... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
