This is our second stay at the Bermondsey Square Hotel. Every thing was good, our room on the third floor overlooked the Square. No problems with noise. It's a little odd that the lifts are located behind the hotel reception. The hotel is very clean, breakfasts were good and cooked to order. They could do with safes in the rooms... More

I won a complimentary two night stay at this hotel and had not stayed in this area before so I didn't really know what to expect. The location of the hotel is good and we liked exploring the area around it, which seems to have had a lot of regeneration in the past few years. We loved the unique style... More

Why on earth the Bermondsey Square Hotel should have such enthusiastic reviews (and why it should have received Tripadvisor's 'Certificate of Excellency') REALLY beats me. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in London, from 3½ to 5½ stars, but this has by far been my least pleasant experience. I won't allege that a professional PR agency must be... More

Dear Vaja Con Dios It is such a shame that despite all of our efforts we were unable to please you during your stay. We went to great lengths to please you, moving you to one of our loft suites when you complained about our windows not opening, offering a complimentary late check out when we tried unsuccessfully to fix... This hotel was in a really great location, for exploring London. The room was well planned and really comfortable, with staff on hang 24 hours. Biggest let down was the breakfast - this is a Greg Wallace restaurant. He needs to get hi own home in order before judging anyone else! Never had such bland food and when there is... More

We ve spent two nice nights at the Bermondsey Square Hotel. The hotel is near the Bermondsey Street, where the pub's and Restaurant's are located. We had a room on the top floor, where the rooms are differently (colors) furnished. They are quite stylish and have a little balcony (which is very uncommon in London!). Breakfast was small, but tasty.... More

Dear Sladjana I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay in one of our Loft Suites. They are all themed with iconic 1970's pop memorabilia and offer small terraces to enjoy the views over the square below. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. More

Ok, it’s not in the typical and usual city center, but it’s in a nice area that is growing really fast in terms of services and attractions. It’s at walk distance from London bridge and over that area you can find lot of restaurants and tea rooms. Quality of the sleep is fair, I prefer more dark in the room,... More

Dear Orione91 Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. The area is improving all the time. National Rail are currently investing £8billion into London Bridge so the changes will continue to be noticed. I hope that you return to see the developments soon. More

Stayed here recently with my wife and we were very happy with the hotel. It a nice comfortable hotel, both the room and bathroom were a nice size, not huge but probably slightly bigger than similar rooms in similar hotels. It was also extremely clean which is always good to see. The staff were pretty friendly too, and there's a... More

We had found this hotel by making an internet search for hotels close to the Shard so it fulfilled our most important criterion. However, we were delighted to discover what other benefits it offered. Close to the city centre, and within easy walking distance of London Bridge tube station, the hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly, welcoming and... More

I recently stayed at the The Bermondsey Square hotel as it was in walking distance of my works London Bridge office. The location was great for what I needed, and I was looking forward to a good night sleep after a busy team day. Unfortunately this was not the case... The walls of my room seemed to be paper thin,... More

Dear Dmaw1 I am so sorry that your sleep was interrupted during your stay. The volumes on the TV set's are set at a maximum level that shouldn't disturb neighboring rooms but at night with ambient noise levels much lower, I can only apologize that this was not low enough. Please do let me know when you are next returning... More

Good hotel room. Good location. Rooms were modern with apple tvs etc- which is great. However restaurant downstairs was poor, despite being owned by the master chef judge. Porridge wasn't cooked, breakfast had minimal vegetarian options. Cooks didn't seem professional. If you stay here avoid the restaurant and pop to the tesco across the street instead!!
