We stayed for one night, so we didn't get the chance try any of the extra facilities on offer. A modern up to date building in a quiet area. Large room and bathroom, very clean and modern. Excellent staff.

I used to live in London when Bermondsey was a place to avoid. Now it's uber chic this hotel fits in well. Modern square with a blend of old and new buildings. Very welcoming staff and everyone was relaxed and friendly. Room was comfortable and functional and the complimentary upgrade was to a Shard view room. Breakfast was very good... More

From the exterior you wouldnt think the above average bedrooms would be hidden in this gems. Outside doesnt do it justice and while the reception si understated the screens showing the neigbouring landmarks was impressive. Room was modern, clean and had everything you need alongside an impressive shower room. Room service was prompt and friendly. Food was very well made... More

Dear Rita_Chandar Thank you for your review. I must admit that the exterior has had mixed reviews. The wooden cladding and other sustainable features have won architectural awards in 2009, but I too prefer St Paul's and other London landmarks. More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming an room service was A*. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, with pubs and restaurants so close and a Sainsbury 2 minutes away. On a Friday morning there is a market outside the hotel, which was a nice surprise. The area around the hotel was... More

Great little hotel in a very useful location..you can walk into the city or along the river. A good base for exploring. Staff very helpful- professional and friendly. Specially reception.. Good value in a very expensive London. Great breakfast too.. Very glad we found it and would certainly return. BTW there is no swimming pool but I couldn't untick the... More

Just got back from our first stay at the Bermondsey Square Hotel, London. Absolutely loved it. Although the room was small, it was spotlessly clean (as was the bathroom) and the beds were really comfortable. Our dinner was excellent and so was the breakfast. The staff were delightful - friendly and very helpful. We visited the nearby Borough Market -... More

Our second stay at this hotel. A gem of a hotel in an area of London we hadn't experienced before we used it to access a gourmet night at Zucca restaurant (summer 2013). This time it was a base for visits to the Matisse exhibition at Tate Modern. Lovely room (great view of the Shard), convenient for walks to Tate... More
