The room was so small that they had to leave our bags right behind the door and we could barely get into the room. There was no furniture other than nightstands--no place to store anything. We were there for one night and that was MORE than enough. The air conditioning never got the room sufficiently cool, the WiFi was so... More

A very warm welcome, lovely room great bar on the roof top but when we went to bed later we could hear the roof top bar I complained they explained that there was a party (Rizzlekicks were having a party) so they upgraded us and apologised Mark the owner even carried our bags! Great rooms nice restaurant great atmosphere. We... More

I booked this hotel in particular for my husbands birthday as it looked cool and edgy and was described as luxury . Booked through an agency but the price was the same as if booked direct so paid full whack which was fine as we were in a great location. This hotel is well marketed and has a great website... More

Trendy little boutique hotel with lots of funky gadgets and an interesting little "sexy box" in the bed chamber. Liked the privacy curtain around the free standing bath in the bedroom. The hotel has a terrace upstairs for guests to use but unfortunately during our stay there was a private booking which meant we couldn't use it :-/ The hotel... More

The door lock didn't work in the middle of the night at it took 15 minutes for the staff to figure out how to let us into our room. Then we discovered that the fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off all night, it was very noisy. It seemed to be bringing in air from the street because it smelled... More

We went here on Saturday for the Gentleman's afternoon tea at the No 20 hotel. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were wonderful to deal with. The highlights for the hotel are the private cinema, and the rooftop terrace where we were able enjoy our Jack Daniels and Cigars. For an alternative afternoon out in the city I... More

We stayed here for my best friends hen party and it was such a fab venue and the staff were so accommodating, especially as they upgraded the brides room to an amazing glam suite for us which was really kind of them. The private movie room was great for an intimate party and the food was delicious! The hotel has... More

See my last review and the management response then. Great hotel, great room, great atmosphere. Here comes the same problem as last time.....one of the main reasons I like the hotel is its roof top bar...yet again ,despite the assurances following my last review the whole of the bar was closed to residents for a private event. Please I really... More

We dined there last Saturday as part of a Groupon deal and the menu looked good. Both my friend and I ordered a slow roasted bbq beef which going by the description sounded lovely. However, the sauce which covered the beef was incredibly spicy and my friend was unable to eat the meat. She asked for an alternative meal as... More

Lovely hotel, decoration very much to my taste with Classic Rock magazines available for free. Food was fantastic and staff are very friendly. Only downside being the rooftop bar at night - full of London's rich and obnoxious. Not the hotel's fault of course but I'd give it a miss at night.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Today’s rock’n’roll hotel is less about threats of incidental bodily harm and more about a glamorously decadent atmosphere, and the new model is a place like the Sanctum Soho. Here it means a dash of modern minimalism, a sprinkling of baroque opulence, and an emphasis on the darker end of the color palette. The in-room electronics are totally up to date, while some throwback touches are retained for atmosphere’s sake. It’s a twenty-four-hour hotel with a liberal, tolerant service concept; what you want, you’ll get, without so much as a raised eyebrow. In that, it’s not so fundamentally different from some of London’s more conservative luxury hotels — it just feels naughtier. ... more   less
