Loved the location. The charm. Safe neighborhood, close to the Underground, local places to eat, it was prefect. We stayed in a two single room. Staff were friendly, helpful. Will definitely stay again and recommend!! Traveling with my teenage son, who also said he'd stay again.

This is in a good location and is clean. Breakfast is good (continental). Has an elevator which is also a plus. But understand what you are paying the somewhat low price for so don't be surprised or annoyed with the staff when you get there. It's an okay hotel for one or two nights for two people max I would... More

Stayed here for one night. What I liked most about this hotel was its location. It is very near to Earl's court metro station (which has elevators - so no worries about baggage!), from which you have easy and cheap access to London Heathrow Airport (This metro station is on the Piccadilly line and since it's just outside the busiest... This hotel is handy to the tube if you are arriving/leaving London. The hotel itself is clean, but the rooms are extremely small. We had requested a 3 bed family room and were presented with what appeared to be a hallway that had a door put on he end with one single bed and one double bed - for 3... More

Booked this for my partners birthday/trip to the ideal home exhibition. On seeing the rooms with the bed against the wall on booking.com website I asked to not have one of these rooms but one of the other rooms that were pictured when I booked as I am a restless sleeper. This request was ignored and they make sure they... More

The advert and pictures on bookings.com for this hotel is misleading. The room was tiny, dirty, cold and noisy. The bed was uncomfortable, the single chair in the room had stains on it, the carpets were filthy and the bathroom was smaller than an airline toilet. The staff are rude and racist. We had booked for 6 nights and full... More

There's lots of pluses to this hotel. The price is attractive and the neighborhood is filled with classic London town homes. The bed is comfortable (a big plus here), the room is clean, and there is a breakfast offered as part of the room price. The TV works well with several good channels and it has a good wi-fi signal... I wasn't sure what to expect based on previous reviews, but it seems like every budget hotel in London has the same bad reviews as if people just copy and paste, so I ignored them and booked anyway. The hotel is located just around the corner from Earls Court tube station, less than five minutes walk. During my stay, I... More

Not so happy and finished off very annoyed 1. Hotel is comfortable rooms are clean and well appointed but that's where it stops. Hotel is noisy and u can hear every sound out side Old wooden windows don't close wind flows like a cooling system that's fine but it was freezing out side, good for summer maybe 2. Asked about... The best thing about the hotel is the location with Earls Court tube station right around the corner. The rooms are TINY. The bathrooms... well, they're nothing like the photo's. I actually booked this hotel instead of one of the others on this street because the bathrooms looked reasonable in the pictures. Well, they're not reasonable. I'm only 5'2, and... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
