we stayed here at the beginning of may 2012. the room we had a twin room which was actually a diabled access room so very big. The hotel staff were friendly. Though close to the road we did not hear any traffic noise in the night (we had a room on a corner but near the front. There are quite... More

I went to see Jay-Z and Kanye at the O2 on a Monday night in May - the gig coincided with the Chelsea Flower Show and subsequently pushed all the hotel prices up. So fed up with being ripped off - I thought I would try a Travelodge. For £50-60, I got a clean room, attentive reception team in a... More

I know Travelodges are basic, but broken springs sticking out of the mattress? Four of them, with a fifth on the way? I scratched my leg quite badly on one of them. I was just glad it was I and not the five-year-old who was with me, as he would not yet be fully immunised against tetanus. I reported it... More

Found the location of this hotel fine for tubes and buses to other parts of the capital. Rooms typical Travel Lodge clean and minimilistic but sufficient for a 2 day stay. I would try and get a room at the front ( left hand side ) as the DLR is right behind and could possibly be noisey. 5 Minute walk... More

I travelled with my mum to London and we stayed in the Travelodge for 3nights. It was perfect for us, great location and really handy for the tube, DLR and train if you wanted to go further afield. We stayed midweek so it was busy around the city but I hear it can be quiet on the weekends. Excellent price... More

Travelodge here was well worth the money, it was very near to the Tower of London and a few restaurants and pubs. It was next to the DLR railway but it was not very noisy as good double glazing and it stops at midnight . They have a good bar there and the breakfast was very good. Would go there... More

This is my second stay here. On both occasions I visited the O2 Arena in the evenings and I found the hotel to be a convenient distance from the Tower Pier where I caught river boats to and from the O2. I was on the third floor and was disappointed on looking out my window to see my room was... More

This was my first time at this Travelodge but my third time at a Travelodge. Stayed at Covent Garden the night before staying here. The rooms are so similar that it could be the same hotel. I checked in early and was given a room on the first floor. The room was fantastic and spotless. The maid had only just... More
