We stayed here in July for 3 nights, Sunday to Wednesday. It is a 2 min walk to the tower hill tube station, the tower of London and Tower bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival, although we didn't really need them too much apart from check in. The rooms were spacious and clean, although the bathroom was... More

We stayed during the hot weather in July where temperatures peaked at 31c. This travelodge has no airconditioning in the bedrooms - they do however provide you with a desk-fan for the room. All public areas are air conditioned. Other than the lack of aircon, this is a bogstandard Travelodge, you get what you would expect. A good sized, clean... More

Our room was right next to an exit to the lifts so I could hear the door slamming when guests entering or leaving late evening or early morning. On top of that room was right next to railway tracks so we could hear the trains going by frequently during the rush hour, we couldn't close the windows to minimise the... More

This was the perfect place to stay to get the most from a short trip to London. It was just across the road from the Tower of London and the open top bus tours all stop there. It was a 2 minute walk to the Underground. The staff were very welcoming an friendly. They kept our luggage for us before... More

The rooms are not designed to cope with the sickly stuffy summer heat of London. If the rooms were air conditioned our stay would have been very different. Having said that, the rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. I would stay clear of the breakfast and pick up a pastry en route.

I phoned the hotel to ask for a nice room as we were staying three nights. We got a very small room with tiny bathroom as far away from the lift as possible. It was noisy even though on the fifth floor but the worst thing was the heat. There was no air conditioning and the temperature of the room... More

If you are looking for a budget hotel to visit the Tower of London and the City this is an ideally situated hotel. However, the hotel has been built alongside a six lane rail track and Dockland Light Railway Station. Convenient maybe but the noise from the trains and DLR station announcements make it very difficult to sleep when the... More

We loved our stay at the Tower Bridge Travelodge! It is situated right by london bridge, so is great for sight seeing. At night, we walked along the river thames which was also very relaxing and enjoyable.

I've never experienced any Travelodge hotel before. It's a good choice, still quite expensive (it's London, you know) but cheaper than other international chains. You get a room that's spacious, no-frills furniture, super clean bathroom. You'll only miss the hairdrier than can be borrowed for 2hrs, it's is not very comfortable the need to go at the reception to pick... More

This was a clean but fairly basic hotel. Central and easy to get to. If you want good value and a clean place to stay, this is for you. If you want all the extras, then look elsewhere. We paid £65 for one night in London which I consider good value. Slight noise form other residents, but surpisingly less noise... More
