Only spent one night but staff were very friendly/helpful and room was clean and comfortable. Excellent nights sleep. Did not eat but if you are looking for a posh restuarant it is not, looks like a cafe. But for the price excellent value.

Had a very pleasant stay with my son, clean, friendly and cheap...Great staff, lovely food. The hotel was situated in a really central place. easy to find using the underground. Had an upstairs room right next to the DLR station, but it wasnt disruptive at all.

This is the first time writing a hotel review in many years of travel but felt that our stay at the Travelodge Tower Bridge was so memorable that we had to make comments. As other reviewers have written, it is truly a special property with wonderful staff. Would highly recommend!!! A spectacular Hotel in a spectacular location. However, what made... More

The hotel and staff are really nice, and make you feel very welcome, but this does not stretch to the kitchen the food is dire and does not resemble any of the food described in the menu,it all seems to be microwaved and soggy, and if you complain about the tiny portion of chips this is just met with no response, and a negative... The hotel and staff were lovely, but the food in the restaurant was not of a decent standard. The menu looks lovely but the food is microwaved and the kitchen staff did not know what they were doing. I would not recommend eating in there go to the pub next door.

I have to say i didn't expect the Ritz. This was probably our cheapest option for a Saturday night stay in London, And it came in exactly as i expected. The rooms are quite small and basic, and i mean very basic. A rail for clothes for example. Bed was ok (not uncomfortable), space none existent, shower not bath, Early... More

Apart from the fact the our room looked like it was half of another room with no wardrobe and only a thin shelf under a porthole style window, everything was okay. Except on the morning of New Year's Eve the one waitress was clearly in a hurry and refused to bring out any more sausages (even though it wasn't quite... More

Just returned from a couple of nights at the hotel. Whilst it may not be situated in the most picturesque part of City, it is extremely handy for visiting The Tower, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and the Clipper Thames boat service. With Tower Hill tube station just a short walk away. Check in was straight forward and we were even... More

Best things: the stairs - there's a fantastic glass atrium going up to the top floor with a staircase where you can see lots of London as you come up and down. Ideal place to get fit as it makes the lifts feel like the stupid option. checking out - almost instant after a computerised check in that went very... More
