The room was OK in terms of cleanliness but strong smell of paint, tried to open window for air circulation but was not possible. Space was very tight, literally unable to walk in the room (booked triple room, got a double bed and a single bed).

This was an interesting place to stay. First off, the entrance has the undeniable odour of bananas for reasons I cannot explain. I think lady who welcomed me into the hotel was blind. I payed 55 pound for the night here. I payed on my card yet the woman kept seeming to type the wrong figure into the card machine.... More

Stayed here for 1 night in a double room. We have stayed in several different hotels in London on many occasions so are pretty experienced in London B&Bs. We chose this one as they are pet friendly and we was bringing our dog with us for the trip. We was expecting it to be rather rough due to dogs being... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2013. Given a triple room, as per booking, which was spacious and clean and had a freeview tv. The room had a sink which was handy. Hotel has shared bathrooms on each floor which were fit for purpose and clean. The continental breakfast was nice and features toast, cereal and fruit juice. The... More

As you can see from my previous reviews I am a tried and tested resident to the many B&Bs that London has to offer and I have stayed on many across the Tavistock Road area. This is an area that is inundated with B&Bs so you are literately spoilt for choice here. As it transpired I was in London for... More

Lived for three nights, you feel like in a prison or in isolation. no ventilation, no fresh air, no lounge to sit in. Smell like an old dump place. Carpets are dirty. Shower was horrible, mostly cold water which gets really hot at one point. Lights in the room really low quality even you find difficulty to study. Beds ,you... More

This small hotel is easy walking distance from Kings X, St Pancras & Euston but on a relatively quiet street in Bloomsbury. Comfortable and totally welcoming with clean rooms, generous breakfast and really helpful hosts - all that for a reasonable tariff. No restrictions or curfew and very local to some nice cafes & bars as well as access some... More

I would like to thank Mr Walch, who is a very helpful, gentle and nice host. I gave us many advices that made our trip organisation easier. The breakfast is really good, copious and hearty. We can share discussions with other travellers from everywhere. The location is at 5 minutes by walk from the Underground Station Russel Square and buses... More

The showers did not work properly during our stay however the hotel is good if you're on a budget and want to stay in a good location close to Euston and other attractions. Look out for the big dog too!
