The hotel is NOT your typical tired dirty budget hotel. Though a little weary it was clean and had the most comfortable bed I've experienced in an hotel for some time. The owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The continental breakfast, though a bit limited in choice, was a welcome addition not found in many similar hotels, and the... More

I originally booked the Albany Hotel for price alone. However when we arrived I was charmed by the friendly little Inn. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, even carrying our suitcases up the stairs despite my protests as he was an older gentleman. The stand out service that blew me away was when we told the owner of our... More

My friend and I stayed at the Albany Hotel for our recent trip to London and found it was exactly as described in tripadvisor. The decor is super quaint, some may consider it outdated but I thought it had a lot of character. I couldn't get enough of all of the collectable plates in the dining room. The rooms were... More

the owner was so kind and helpful. He tried to help us as much as he can. breakfast was continental style and it was good. he baked toast by himself. I highly recommend this hotel to guest. although the room is not spacious, it's UK. it's reasonable.!

The owner is very friendly, which makes the staying pleasant. The location is good, place is clean. There is a nice breakfast place. Only the room for three people was a bit small, but it had a balcony.

Room clean and tidy with fresh clean towels. Tea and coffee making facilities ok. Toilet and shower clean with plenty of hot water. Not the Hilton but good for the price. Area ok and got a good nights sleep. I would stay hear again.

Arrived to find breakfast between 8 and 10am only. Not helpful as I was to leave for tube to my course at 7.45am. Owner couldn't provide me anything earlier than this. Room was clean, warm with basic provisions for hot drinks. Bed comfy with more than adequate bedding. Room furnishing and decor a little dated. Bathroom had hot, probably too... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
