I stayed here just one night with my Mum and it was very convenient and so quiet which was lovely after the crowds in central London all day. Lovely owner and breakfast in the dining room in the morning. I would definitely use this budget hotel again - very clean and shared bathrooms accessible when needed so was not a... More

It was a wonderful surprise to discover this nice little family run B&B, very cosy, homey feel and we had a great time getting to know the owner who's super fun to talk to! And his amazing collection in the kitchen. ;-) Location is perfect. A few minutes walk to Kings Cross station. Facilities are quite decent. Fairly clean and... More

Helpful staff, central location, good for the price, clean. Even though it was shared bathroom, there was one on every floor so didn't need to wait. Let us keep our luggage there on last day after check out so we didn't have to carry it around all day. Would stay again.

I don't normally stay anywhere that isn't en suite, but this was the right place at the right price at the right time (early morning Eurostar). I arrived late and left early and was given a much appreciated picnic breakfast.

Stayed here for one night as part of a birthday surprise my friend had organised. I do not know what she paid but the hotel had everything we needed. If you're expecting a travel lodge interior I would suggest you book elsewhere. I found the whole experience relaxed from start to finish. I would never normally stay anywhere with shared... More

The hotel is NOT your typical tired dirty budget hotel. Though a little weary it was clean and had the most comfortable bed I've experienced in an hotel for some time. The owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The continental breakfast, though a bit limited in choice, was a welcome addition not found in many similar hotels, and the... More

I originally booked the Albany Hotel for price alone. However when we arrived I was charmed by the friendly little Inn. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, even carrying our suitcases up the stairs despite my protests as he was an older gentleman. The stand out service that blew me away was when we told the owner of our... More

My friend and I stayed at the Albany Hotel for our recent trip to London and found it was exactly as described in tripadvisor. The decor is super quaint, some may consider it outdated but I thought it had a lot of character. I couldn't get enough of all of the collectable plates in the dining room. The rooms were... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
