I am budget conscious when it comes to booking Hotels for one night stays. I come to London twice a month for work. This place was frightening! I regret that I didn't turn back. To say it is outdated is being too kind. The interior (throughout) is dark, smelly and very shabby. Be prepared to share a Toilet / Bathroom.... More

It was a really nice stay in Albany, everyone was helpful and friendly. Although there was no lift, someone helped me with my heavy luggage up the stairs which was a really kind gesture. The hotel is in a convenient location near a tube station with lots nearby as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here very much!

I knew it wasn't going to be palatial and for one night I could tolerate no en-suite facilities but the shared bathroom wasn't much cop and the mixer shower both ineffective and unpredictable. That said a friendly welcome plus a good night's sleep in a quiet hotel that is situated in a fantastic part of London. I won't be back... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
