This is not actually a hotel but a rented apartment or “self-catered” accommodation, as some people call it. However, in most respects it worked just like a hotel. The only main difference, which was probably its biggest drawback, was checking in. There is no sign for 39 Suites, so you have to check in at the actual hotel nextdoor, which... More

I guess you get what you pay for, and it was on the budget side. The location is good, and the staff were friendly and generally helpful. The area is quiet and safe. The room was tiny, with no place to put our suitcases. The safe wouldn't open, and despite requests, it wasn't fixed during our 7 day stay there.... More

We have booked six months before our 7 nights stay bed and breakfast in London . When we arrived the receptionist didn't notice that breakfast was already charged and told us that if we wanted breakfast we had to pay 8 pounds extra!! We booked at Hotel 43 with street views but we were given two rooms at suites 39... More

Four of us stayed here over the weekend for a hen party. The main bedroom was lovely but the sofa bed was broken in the lounge. When we called reception, we were told that the apartments and hotel were full and so there was no replacement bed which meant that two of the four had to sleep on the floor.... More

Stayed on business last week and this was, without doubt, the worst hotel experience I have had for a long time. On check-in, directed to a seperate building further down the street. The ground floor ocrridor was full of builders rubble, old sinks, plasterboard sheets and the general detritus of a work in progress. Given a basement room in a... More

Stayed with my family... Bedroom clean and smart, good size, bathroom the same - living room tiny and well in need of a bit of TLC. Somewhat over priced but good for tube location and really friendly staff. Strangely the pull out sofa bed was really comfy!!! The windows always sounded open and were drafty, but a quite part of... The only thing that is ok about this place is the location. Our room was tiny, dirty, noisy. Did not look anything like the pictures. Cigarette burns in furniture. Air con didn’t work. Bathroom grubby, shower floor chipped. The "kitchenette" was a fridge with a broken door and a grubby microwave within a cupboard. The price would have been cheap... More

My husband and I needed a hotel close to Bayswater and fast. We were able to book a room here two days before we arrived in London. It is in a very convenient location, two streets over from Queensway tube station. Quiet street. You need to check in at number 43 which is 2 doors down. The room was expensive!... More

This hotel has some nice ideas, with regard to the kitchen-in-a-cupboard type idea. For the size of it, I agree with other reviewers, you're not going to be cooking anything ambitious, but it is handy for breakfast and quick meals. Plus, whomever came to service our room each morning also surprised us by washing up our used dishes for us.... More

Stayed here from April 19th to 22nd for the London marathon. It's in a decent location a short train and tube trip from Heathrow airport and a short walk from Oxford street. You also have the lovely Hyde Park and Kensington gardens a few minutes away. Bayswater and Queensway tube stations are not far from the doorstep and a lot... More
