5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

We had our wedding here in April and stayed for 2 nights. The whole experience was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful at every stage of the weekend. The venue was small but intimate as we wanted. The rooms were excellent for us and all guests. The food, a four course wedding menu was carefully balanced, well... More

We were a heterogeneous group in this restaurant for dinner on Easter Sunday, 3 Italians and an American on a visit to London, an Italian London resident and two British London residents, ages 46 to 65. I don't think anyone was satisfied, including the person who recommended the place. I can't find the exact menu that was available that night... More

This place is a pure jewel when needing to sty somewhere in London in comfort without corporacy! The setting is ideal, just over the road from Regents Park and close enough to Camden Town tube station. The staff informative, helpful and really couldn't do enough to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel has a shabby chic setting and... More

Went as a late valentines visit withy partner. For starters we weren't sure if we had the right place, the outside looked very scruffy with mismatched pealed back paint. Thankfully the inside was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The staff were very welcoming and offered to hold our bags until our room was ready. They even took the bags up... More

Excellent stay in a superior room (no 2, lovely period features and claw foot bath) and we were made to feel very welcome by the attentive staff from the minute we checked in, whilst drinking in the bar, evening meal in the restaurant and again at breakfast. We had a special 3 course meal deal for London Restaurant Fortnight including... More

My wife and I stayed at the Y&A for 5 nights in March 2014 and we could not have been happier with our experience. Lucy and the rest of the front desk staff were welcoming, attentive and each time they saw us they made sure to ask how our stay was going and if there was anything they could do... More

I visited the York and Albany ) for lunch with a friend. We had heard very good reviews and so had high expectations. It was a special occasion for my friend and so I’m sure you’ll appreciate it was doubly important to us that the afternoon was celebratory and special. I am afraid, however, that we came away incredibly disappointed.... More

We ate there last night 30th Dec in a party of 5. We were very impressed with the atmosphere, fittings, food and service. Could do with a better selection of drinks apart from the huge wine list - not much choice for non drinkers or beer lovers. The menu was actually hard to read in the low lighting just a... More

We stayed in a superior room for two nights over Christmas. Our room was full of character with beautiful windows complete with working shutters. Large complementary bottles of water both days and a tasty Christmas gift on arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable with soft, good quality pillows. The hotel is a listed building so expect character rather than logically... More
