Stayed at The Pilot on a whim, didn't really know what to expect with a Pub with Rooms but I didn't expect such a high standard in accommodation, ambience and food. I was thrilled to bits. The Pilot was 10 minutes from the O2 by foot. Easy to find, get off at North Greenwich Underground and then it's wll signposted.... More

What a fantastic find.....will never book another Hotel when visiting the O2 Arena again! The Pilot Pub with rooms is fab. Easy to find from North Greenwich Underground Station. Short walk (10 mins) from the O2 and you're there. Beautiful decor, downstairs with a lovely ambience and good selection of drinks, pub meals (upmarket) and bar snacks. We checked in... More

Situated very close to the o2, lovely room, comfortable bed and pillows and very clean. Bathroom well stocked with nice toiletries, shower was great. Didn't eat there in the evening but had breakfast the next day which was very nice, but not worth £15

My husband and I stayed here as it was convenient for the 02. What an amazing place, a quirky room with a great view of the 02. Comfortable bed and good range of facilities. Yummy breakfast, and easy parking. Only 5 mins walk to the 02. Highly recommended.will certainly be back

Excellent location, small but well equipped room with iPod dock and nespresso machine. Friendly staff who sing during breakfast! Good but slightly pricey food. Only issues were bathroom bin hadn't been emptied and noisy pumbing. I still want to keep this place my secret so I can always get a room.

Stayed here for one night whilst going to the 02 for a concert. Could not fault the room really comfortable everything in it you would need. Convenience for the 02 amazing 5 minute walk through a charming park area. Decided to eat in the restaurant for convenience not sure what to expect because some of the reviews I had read... More

We chose the Pilot because of its proximity to the O2 - we were attending the Spandau Ballet gig and needed somewhere close to avoid the tube rush after the concert. Location is fantastic - approx 10 mins slow walk to the O2. Check in was painless, and the room and decor of the hotel is really quirky. The rooms... More

Quirky room very dark as no main light. Lovely big shower pity the water wasn't hot so unable to use although water out of tap boiling. Tap a bit wobbly kept turning from base. Radiator noisy. Lovely view from room pity about building works. Could hear people in adjoining room. No main meals served between 3pm and 6pm shame. When... More

We stayed here on friday 13th, as we were attending The Script concert at the O2. The room was incredibly spacious. Had kingsize bed, seating area in the bay window and a desk/ dressing table. Also fantastic views of the O2. The en-suite was perfect fot the job, with a great double sized shower. In the room there was complementary... More

Booked a night at The Pilot to go along with a trip to the O2 for a gig. It is the perfect location for the O2 but it is much more than that. The facilities, welcome and the general feeling around the Pilot made our experience of the gig so much better. And a great breakfast in the morning!! Would... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
