Our small "Double Executive Bedroom" was neither Elegant and nor was it Boutique by any stretch of the imagination. The central heating was temperamental. We were advised not to drink the hotel water, but to buy a large bottle from the proprietor for £2.50 - which could be bought along the road at Sainsburys for 45p. Notices told us that... More

We stayed in this hotel while meeting up with friends nearby. We paid by credit card and the guy taking payment had an old-school credit card machine. That is the one and only time that credit card has been used and what do you know.... A few months later we get a credit card bill. Luckily we had a low... More

The town of Wimbledon is lovely and a good place to stay and use public transportation to get in and out of London, esp. if you can park where you stay. The Wimbledon Hotel had a couple of pluses and many minuses. The pluses were the parking and the breakfast room and the sweet lady who cooked and served. The... More

We only stayed one night in this Hotel. I think to describe it as a boutique Hotel probably stretches the imagination a little. Our double room room was small but had most things needed for a short stay. The ensuite was tiny & cold with only only one ceiling bulb working out of the three so not too great for... More

Stayed at Wimbledon hotel with my partner for a long weekend. Room was lovely, clean, spacious and well decorated. However walls were thin which meant you could hear other guests walking about and talking. Full English breakfast is offered for an additional £7.50 which is great value. The food is excellent. Generally a nice place to stay but management do... More

This is a guesthouse (at hotel rates). None of the usual hotel services. A kettle, coffee, tea and biscuits were provided but the kettle did not fit under the tap and had a very short power cable so had to be plugged in on a little stool near the electrical point. Wifi was excellent and free. My stay in this... More

It is natural to be frustrated paying for a hotel and getting no services or missing basic amenities. Least said, even drinking water is not provided. The fact that the door keeps ringing all night and that you would need to open the door to helpless guests coming first time is most irritating. The staff and manager are nice but... More

Guest house rather than hotel, I would say, but it was fine for our purposes (an overnight stay following a family event). There is free parking! In London!! We were travelling in a family group and had one single room and one family room next to each other. The bathroom was large and the rooms comfortable. The owner does not... More

We stayed at this hotel for the Wimbledon men's final. We chose it as it was conveniently located with 30 minutes walk to the championships and 15 minutes from the train station and town for restaurants. We arrived in the evening and the manager dealt with our payment and gave our key. The room we had was a very nice... More

This hotel is certainly not as it is advertised 'An elegant boutique hotel' - it is none of these things. It is a poor 2-3* guest house with rooms, and although I was met by a polite and pleasant manager or owner, there is clearly no one on site given all of the instructions left with numbers to ring, should...
