We stayed at this hotel for the Wimbledon men's final. We chose it as it was conveniently located with 30 minutes walk to the championships and 15 minutes from the train station and town for restaurants. We arrived in the evening and the manager dealt with our payment and gave our key. The room we had was a very nice... More

This hotel is certainly not as it is advertised 'An elegant boutique hotel' - it is none of these things. It is a poor 2-3* guest house with rooms, and although I was met by a polite and pleasant manager or owner, there is clearly no one on site given all of the instructions left with numbers to ring, should... Not a great experience. Got woken at 2.15 a.m. by a girl ringing front doorbell. After listening to it for 5 minutes I had to go and open it myself. I guess the hotel is not manned at night. Very poor breakfast. Miserable manager. No polite questions at check out such as 'did you have a nice stay'? Got the... More

We booked a superior room, thank God, I hate to imagine what a standard room looked like! It was very clean but the ensuite shower room was mouldy in a few places as were the window frames inside the secondary glazing. we could not open either the shower room door or the cupboard door fully as the bed frame was... Stayed in this hotel for 1 night in November 2013 because of a nearby event. The hotel (which is actually a bed and breakfast) is average at best. We arrived late and had to ring the bell for the door to open and our key was left for us to go to our room, this was fine and had no... More

At first glance it looks a lovely property, the signage out side kinda contradicts itself, as it states its a boutique hotel but also calls itself a guest house. In my opinion it needs to make its mind up. Our company books our rooms so we don't have a say in where we stay. But the constructive feedback we have... More

Stayed here for a week while working away. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Good location only a 10 min walk to the centre. Breakfast is good and served quickly. Hotel quiet at night and beds are comfy. Only thing i can find to moan about is the bacon with breakfast is not fried. Over... More

I spent four nights at this hotel in July, the room was very clean and the ensuite had a good shower and was maintained to a high standard. Wimbledon hotel is convient for the village and local English Summer schools. Be aware that breakfast is not included in the price. Well done and good work to Jay and the team... More

This guest house is well kept. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was modern and nicely packed into a small space. We had a triple room at the back of the house, which meant that we could keep the window open in the heat of the night, and were only vaguely disturbed by the rumbling of the train in... More
