Great location for seeing the tourist sights of London. A short walk (5-10 mins) from the theater and shopping areas. Very comfortable accommodation. We were in apartment 1, it has a twin room and double sofa bed. The sitting room with the sofa bed faces the street and was a bit noisy in the morning with deliveries to local businesses,... More

What a gem. You just can't beat this for the great location and great price combined. 5 mins walk to GreenPark and Piccadilly, 10mins walk to Leicester Square and the theatres. A short walk to Westminster and also to Buckingham Palace. You don't need the tube to do London if you get the right place, and this is the right... More

Fantastic and incredibly central location - just round the corner from the Ritz! Clean, spacious and really reasonable. Twin bedroom and double sofa bed (as comfy as a sofa bed can be) meant 4 adults stayed in comfort. We were hardly in the apartment but it served us very well. We were apartment 1 and had no noise from other... More

This was our second stay at Ryder St, its location is great for getting to all the main attractions. Within walking distance of theatre land and Regents St/Oxford St shopping as well as Green Park. Apartment was clean one minor issue with a broken toilet seat but all sorted.

My husband & i have just returned home from an overnight stay here. It was just perfect. 5 min walk from Green Park tube. It is in walking distance to all the main spots. (Oxford/Regents St. , Trafalgar, Soho, China Town, Ritz...need i go on..!) The only time we used the tube was to get here! It is situated in... More

One night stay after an event very nearby. Rooms better than entrance suggests. Clean, modern and had all that was needed. However single glazing windows meant ( first floor ) flat was very noisy from comings and goings outside. Possibly an even bigger issue in the Summer as no air conditioning.

Thanks for your review. We are sorry that you found the accommodation noisy. We can however confirm that all bedrooms benefit from double glazed windows. You will appreciate that our central location brings some noise with it. If you should decide to visit us again please ask for a room on the top floor or one of the rear rooms... More

Great location within walking distance or a couple of tube stops of anything in central London. Found a late deal for a double room/apartment at £130 which in comparison to any other hotel in the area is dirt cheap. Flat was clean and in decent condition, found the bed in particular very comfortable. Will certainly look out for this place... More

Two night stay with family in flat two. The pictures certainly misrepresented this apartment, it looks like you would expect a four star hotel bedroom to look but the reality was greatly different. The furniture throughout was old, tired and dirty, the carpets were dirty, the sofa bed had not been made up and I would rather not have seen... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that the apartment was not of the standard you anticipated. We have over the last 6 months upgraded all of the rooms and unfortunately it seems your stay was in one of the last to receive attention. All rooms now have new furnishings, flooring and lighting. I do hope you return to... More

This was a great find! Not only the service is great, but the location is second to none! Apartments are spacious (at least ones I've used), confy beds, amenities ok, cable TV with everything and wifi very useful and necessary these days. If you're looking for a nice central base for your "London browse", or you're doing business in Central... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
