I have enjoyed staying at other hotels within the group - big comfortable old buildings and booked this one hoping for the same service and style. The hotel is well placed for Oxford Street and Euston and Kings Cross. I booked a suite, which at the time sounded great value. As with so many hotels these days they use light... More

We were in London for 3 days & 2 nights. This hotel we found on laterooms & booked it as it was the cheapest we could find for what we needed. It is only a 2 minute walk from the tube station which was ideal. It was noisy at night with cars and people outside the hotel. The room was... More

Short walk to russel square tube.. A good location to visit the sites of London. But if you love your sleep and need to re charge your batteries this is NOT I repeat NOT for you. We were in room number 11 the first door as you come up the stairs. A huge generator noise from next door on and... More

Room was clean. Beautiful decors. Very convenient distance to Russell Square and King's Cross St Pancras stations by foot. Plenty cafes and restaurants or pubs surrounding location. Suitable for those attending conferences or meetings around the area (e.g. royal colleges etc). Room for improvement - needs double glazing windows and slippers. Can be quite noisy in the wee hours of... More

Facelift or not, do not be fooled by the shiny new surface decor! Sadly, the new trappings still hide a multitude of problems. Single glazed windows and paper thin stud walls led to a very noisy sleepless night. A strong smell of sewage from the bathroom added to the discomfort of our stay, together with half empty bottles of guest... More

I was so impressed by the quality of the room that I felt inclined to write a review, which is something I rarely do. Don't be put off by the narrow staircases leading up to the rooms, it's definitely worth it when you get there. The room is spacious with new and modern furnishings. It was neat, clean and nothing... I didn't read these reviews before we stayed at this hotel, and thank goodness as it has obviously had a major facelift since then - The stairs are no longer creaky floor boards and are now a smart dark wood laminate, and our room was definitely streets ahead of the photos posted on this site. Receiving our "self-check-in" instructions was... More

THIS HOTEL HAS NO STARS BUT WHEN YOU GET THROUGH ON THE LINK TO THE OTHER WEBSITE, IT CLAIMS TO HAVE FOUR! The B&B that is advertised here is no longer running under this name. It changes it's name often and is now referring to itself as the Belle Cour hotel. That is the name it will take you to... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
