Short walk to russel square tube.. A good location to visit the sites of London. But if you love your sleep and need to re charge your batteries this is NOT I repeat NOT for you. We were in room number 11 the first door as you come up the stairs. A huge generator noise from next door on and... More

Room was clean. Beautiful decors. Very convenient distance to Russell Square and King's Cross St Pancras stations by foot. Plenty cafes and restaurants or pubs surrounding location. Suitable for those attending conferences or meetings around the area (e.g. royal colleges etc). Room for improvement - needs double glazing windows and slippers. Can be quite noisy in the wee hours of... More

Facelift or not, do not be fooled by the shiny new surface decor! Sadly, the new trappings still hide a multitude of problems. Single glazed windows and paper thin stud walls led to a very noisy sleepless night. A strong smell of sewage from the bathroom added to the discomfort of our stay, together with half empty bottles of guest... More

I was so impressed by the quality of the room that I felt inclined to write a review, which is something I rarely do. Don't be put off by the narrow staircases leading up to the rooms, it's definitely worth it when you get there. The room is spacious with new and modern furnishings. It was neat, clean and nothing... I didn't read these reviews before we stayed at this hotel, and thank goodness as it has obviously had a major facelift since then - The stairs are no longer creaky floor boards and are now a smart dark wood laminate, and our room was definitely streets ahead of the photos posted on this site. Receiving our "self-check-in" instructions was... More

THIS HOTEL HAS NO STARS BUT WHEN YOU GET THROUGH ON THE LINK TO THE OTHER WEBSITE, IT CLAIMS TO HAVE FOUR! The B&B that is advertised here is no longer running under this name. It changes it's name often and is now referring to itself as the Belle Cour hotel. That is the name it will take you to... More

Looking at the pictures online we thought this hotel was a bargain and quickly snapped up the luxury room. When we arrived we were a bit confused, you walk up the first flight of stairs and see two people sitting in a small room with a computer. This is the reception. When stating we booked a room we were shown... More

From looking at the pictures when we originally booked this hotel, we were looking forward to staying here for New Years Eve. Unfortunately though, like previous reviewers, we were quite disappointed. It started off by entering the small hotel where the check in area is in a small room up the stairs, where you pay and get given your keys... More

The place is nothing like the pictures show on the internet. We were in the 'luxury' room. What an absolute joke. The room was tiny and falling apart, floor tiles cracked, the main light was broken (one of the bulbs actually missing, the other was not working!). The room was generally grubby and appeared dirty. However, the bed sheets were... More

Oh my god, what a kick in the teeth this place was. Stinks of damp, cloth headboard has more dirt in it than a rubbish bin, Toilet filthy and all night long all you could hear was the same stiletto heals every 30 mins passing your door (cant imagine what she was doing) Avoid at all costs...
