Stayed 2 nights. Rooms are small but very clean. Perfect location for Leicester Square. If you just need a room to sleep it's great. Walls are thin & had to put up with a couple having a very loud argument but nothing the hotel can do about that. Plenty of shops pubs & cafes close by.

We read the reviews but gave them chance They gave us different room on top floor Filthy, smelly disgusting! Nobody answered phone , we moved hotel. They kept our money! Not even an apology or move rooms We took photos cos we couldn't believe it. The lower rooms probably better hence some good reviews

Lots of negative reviews on here and I'm glad I didn't read them ( or show my other half!) before I booked it. For central London on a Friday night around Christmas this was great value for money, clean, comfortable, and the locking system worked fine. Don't expect a concierge or any glamour and you won't be too put out,... More

There was no receptionist or porter to check me in. There was only one bedside light that didn't work. The tiled floor had a hole in it stuffed with paper then taped. The furniture and curtains were cheap and poor quality. The walls were paper thin. I was woken by the couple in the room next door making a terrifically... More

small but clean room, towels not brilliant and dirty windows. View was dreadful overlooking back yard. very steep stairs (we were on 3rd floor). wish I had done a bit more searching for a better place. A key code is needed to enter the building, but I had not received an email containing this until I chased them for it.

We asked the man on arrival if we could leave luggage the next day (train home wasn't till 9pm) he said yea it was fine an there is also signs up on the walls saying you can do this by... More

Very close to station.quite expensive for what it is, tiny room with screened off en- suite. Extremely noisy, we could hear conversations from all the rooms and when they used bathroom or turned tap on. We were aware of no lift and no reception, but the stairs were very steep and tiny. Very tiny cupboard for clothes. Small double bed.... More

Got there a little before the 2pm check in, having been told we could check in at 1pm. They did not seem completely prepared for us being early but despite this we got to our room in minutes. Clean, spacious, perfect for our needs. Separate sleep areas for adults and 2 kids. No tables by kids beds. Shower good, 2... More

I contacted the hotel via booking.com to request a later checkout. This was approved. However at 11am the cleaner was banging on the door and forcing us out, she got the manager involved and I had proof in the form of an email that we could stay until 1pm that day. Even with the proof she claimed that booking.com had... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
