This place was a correct place to stay, with pros and cos : - Pros : Ideally located near Baker Street, which makes it very easy to navigate around the city center of London. Not the fanciest street of all, but quite good and pretty safe. Walking distance from the underground station (5 minutes). Cleaning was done every day, which... More

Stayed here for one night a few weeks ago after having eye surgery in near by Harley street. Check in was very quick and efficient. Room was spotless tidy and of good size. Bed very comfortable, shower great as well. No complaints at all. Would definitely use again.

Room was small but had everything as promised. All I can say that it was smart usage of the room space. We hardly used the room as we were mostly on the streets catching up with the attractions. The original bus tour had a stop near here , there was a tesco express, baskin robbins, laundry services, madamme tussads, baker's... More

To be honest- for the price it served its need. The room was tidy, it had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. It was around half the price of most the central hotels so if your just looking for a place to rest your head- it's ideal. My only grumble was how hot it was at night- and... More

We stayed here for one night before my husband went into hospital. The manager was very helpful and upgraded our room to a bigger apartment from the small apartment we had originally booked. The apartment itself was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The manager even suggested a nice place to... More

Stayed for one night on 3rd floor. Clean and pretty new studio, close to Baker Street underground. Not anything fancy for the price I paid. A little hassle with credit cards, reservation got cancelled and upon check in required the same credit card used for booking. I didn't have it as husband booked the room, had to email him some... I stayed 2 nights in a single person studio. The size of the room was quite good for London standards, and it had a nice window overlooking the back side of the road, so no noise from cars. The bathroom on the other hand was tiny, but smartly architected. The check in person was very kind, and the electronic key... More

We found this hotel thru Hotels.com - wanted a centrally located hotel that could accommodate 2 adults and a teen and give the teen some privacy. We arrived to find a basement "suite" with little natural light. The "2nd" bedroom was the kitchen/living room/bedroom with a futon. The futon was not even made up though sheets were provided. When we... More

I found this chain of hotels when I was looking for a modern and comfortable place near Paddington. This was well priced (£170) for June which is very busy in London forcing prices up. Usually the pictures are better than reality. In this case they were actually accurate. The building has been renovated but it's a bit cheap if you... More

A very nice, clean, modern, bright, reasonably well-equipped studio in the heart of London, at a decent price. I never knew there was anything like this in the centre of London! Definitely recommended for short stays.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
