This hotel is literally just oppoisite Waterloo Station so very easy to get too. It is ideally situated for sightseeing, being just 5 minutes walk from the South Bank. Great for catching a river cruise, and within walking distance of all the sights. Rooms are clean and comfortable and well kitted out with everythinng you need - toiletries, good hair... More

We stayed here in May for my birthday weekend. We wanted something near to Waterloo Station and this couldn't have been better. This is immediately opposite Waterloo Underground (not mainline - make sure you use the correct exit or you'll be walking in circles!) We arrived before opening time in the pub but we knocked on the door & were... More

Room, bathroom, meals, service all very good. Access for Festival hall excellent, no more than a 5 minute walk. Staff very friendly. Only issue is access to bedrooms which are up steep stairs - not surprising when one considers the building, but something you may want to consider if you are travelling with elderly, disabled or children. Would certainly stay... More

On a sightseeing tour we popped into the Wellington for a spot of lunch. The hotel is in a central location being directly opposite Waterloo station. It was an interesting menu, reasonably priced with a number of specials on the day we visited. I ordered the Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie whilst my wife ordered the Pork Fillet with beer... More

Modernised hotel room, with great power shower. Clean room and very comfy bed. Quiet even though it was next to Waterloo station. Nice breakfast options and delicious. Would definitely stay when visiting London again.

Chosen for its location close to Waterloo, Blackfriars & London Bridge Stations along with The Shard & Borough Market. Rooms were decorated in a bright & trendy style whilst other areas of the hotel (stairs & landings looked dated) Pub was very popular. Breakfast was very good

This hotel is priced fairly for what you get in a city like London. The staff was more than friendly and the accommodations were clean. You get a full brekafast as well where they will take your order and serve you. There is quite a lively pub on the bottom floor so families with small children beware. Overall I rank... More

The hotel was in a good location for us which is why we booked it. It was not overly cheap. It was above a pub and we had to climb a lot of stairs to get to our room as there is no lift. The room was quite small but neatly decorated with a new bathroom. My bed was quite... More

There is a lot to commend this hotel. It is outside Waterloo station. I thought it would be noisy but with the double-glazed window closed, I slept like a log. It is close to the Southbank, so really handy for culture vultures. The Wellington is a pub – a vast place that does decent beers and food. It was heaving... More
