A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights mainly because it was so close to everything we wanted to see in the city. The room (studio apartment) was spacious but basic and we were lucky enough to be on the top floor so had a bit of a view although it was also very hot, probably be great in... More

We stayed here for 1 night in September, we wanted to be close to Covent Garden as we wanted to spend the evening in that area. The hotels in this area are very expensive, and I decided I'd rather spend the money on some good food out so went for the cheap option on accommodation! We genuinely didn't know what... More

The location is great on Drury Lane and the studio is large but you really do get what you pay for which is basic student accommodation. If you remember this then things are not too bad but if you can get a hotel locally for similar money I would recommend you do.

The Grosvenor House studios are in an incredible location, easy walk to just about anywhere in London with great transit links. The room itself is adequate, beds are not the most comfortable, but there is lots of space. Bathroom layout is awkward, but workable (though it did smell of mildew). It was a nice thing to have the option to... More

We have stayed in LSE accommodation before during uni summer and Easter holidays but being term time we were pleased to find Grosvenor House offering rooms. We booked a studio for 5 nights. This is basic student accommodation, a smallish room with ensuite and a kitchenette comprising fridge, 2 hotplates and convection microwave. The accommodation was quite adequate for our... More

A bit of a joke this place! OK: clean and… And very little else. OK: convenient, that's true…. But… where to start? "Kitchen" area/cupboard - er, two (stolen) pint-glasses, one wine-glass; one cup (for the two of us)… Bed: v.v. uncomfortable, springy-noisy… OK, it was £100 per night, and yards from the the ate at which we had last minute... Whilst looking for accommodation in the Covent Garden area I came across LSE Grosvenor Hse. I didn't quite know what to expect but for the price(£100) I thought it worth a shot, considering the location. On arrival there were 2 members of staff a reception, both appeared quite young and exceedingly happy and cheerful, this rang true of all the... More

Stay at Grosvenor House Studios if you love the idea of having your own space and freedom right in the heart of London's West End. Situated a couple of minutes walk from colourful Covent Garden and surrounded by theatres

Found this a good base for a couple of days while traveling alone. Ground floor single room was adequate with single bed, table and chairs, microwave and minibar size fridge, desk. No air con so fortunately no too hot weather. Short walk to West End Theaters, Leister Square and Covent garden underground. No frills but wifi was free. I did... More

Stayed here for London's OPEN CITY weekend. Basic accommodation but the studio's were large and clean. In the heart of the west end so a GREAT location for getting around central London. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the local vicinity. I shall definitely stay here again!

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
