The hotel is rather inexpensive for the area and the rooms are ok, I hear some upgrading is taking place soon. Good vibe in the bar and the rib eye steak I had was the best I have had in a long time very tender cooked as I asked for it and nicely presented with peppers, corgette and roasted tomatoes... More

The good For a reasonable priced hotel in London it's not bad at all rooms are nice clean enough the food here is fantastic , and the pub is spot on with sky sports The bad the staff here could do better I came down for breakfast every morning and struggled to get a table not because it was full... Well presented, warm roaring fire, comfy, amazing food, cold beer, kind welcoming staff. Bus stop just outside for connections to leytonstone tube station and central line into london and same bus stop for the night bus too. Easy parking.

Overall, a satisfactory stay. The exteriors and the bar are done in an old fashioned way with a distinct contemporary touch. The variety of memorabilia on display could have been more as I expected to know more about Grace Kelly. The staff was communicative but diffident. I was to find that a broken toilet seat cover would not be fixed... More

Clean ! Had everything you need in your room , good breakfast . Could perhaps do with a few more staff at reception / bar. But overall very good value for money pleasant place , warm . Over looks The Hollow Ponds , good for parking

Second visit to what can only be described as outstanding value, typical pub fair but of very good quality and huge portion sizes you won't walk away hungry that's for sure, downside on our visit was that service was a bit on the slow side and the waitress had a bit if difficulty carrying more than one plate at a... What a great place to stay. I stayed here whilst working in london. I didn't get the chance to experience the breakfast as we started work to early. The food in the evening is great and always served with a smile. The bar staff are brilliant and the bar area has a great atmosphere with friendly locals. The rooms are... More

We booked a double room back in September for a friends 40th party in November. Traveled from East Sussex so was looking forward to a warm welcome. However just got a very rude welcome. Arrived and were told we had a twin room. No doubles available. I said we booked back in September and a double booking was confirmed. Showed... More

I used to live in the Leytonstone area in the past and therefore knew and had eaten at the Hitchcock before so that restaurant seemed like a natural choice when my husband and I took a disabled friend last night for a treat. I was disappointed as the menu which used to be great as I remember it is now... More

The Hotel was very convenient for my trip, the rooms are very clean, but the clincher for me was the Manager, who was very understanding and helpful. He is trying to improve the amenities and the general workings of the Hotel and is doing a comendable job. I will defiantly being staying here again
