The staff are friendly and the value is great; it also includes a full breakfast. However, the single room was tiny, the shower built for a midget, the walls, door, floors and window definitely not soundproofed, and you can hear the water pump whenever a neighbour runs any form of water. It is not the place to stay more than... More

Stayed over the weekend, to visit our son, who lives nearby. Our room over the pub was clean, basic and overlooking the rear car park, quiet. No wardrobe or chest of drawers, but plenty of hangers for our few clothes! The double bed was very comfortable and warm and we slept soundly each night. The bathroom was modest, but clean. The... Charming Inn above a pub. Rooms are small but serviceable and a great price. Full English breakfast available as well. Great pub with good atmosphere. Stayed in double bed room, quite comfortable slept well. Some street noise from the ring road. lots of electric outlets to keep things charged as well.

I loved this hotel. We stayed here with some friends we met earlier in the year on holiday. It is set on the outskirts and the view from our window overlooking a lovely night lit London. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the beds comfy. I like the fact the rooms were separate from the restaurant/pub side... More

The hotel itself is very nice. The room is a good size and the bed is comfortable. I don't like leaving a negative review but we were not given a key for the front door. So when I got back to the hotel, after having gone out for the night, I could not get in. I tried knocking and ringing... More

It was a pleasant evening to go for a walk so me and my boyfriend decided to explore London by foot.We have reached the Alfred Hitchcock Hotel where we have stopped before and decided to have a drink. The place is cozy and the atmosphere is pretty creepy but we just wanted to enjoy each other and to take our... More

We were frowned at as we arrived as we had the audacity to arrive when the young woman on reception was talking to her boyfriend/male friend. She give me the key and then stood there looking at me wondering why I was still there... She hadn't bothered and had no intention of actually explaining how I would get to the... More

Just stayed at the Alfred Hitchcock hotel last night and can quite honestly say it has been the most entertaining nights in a hotel ever... Haven't stopped laughing yet. First took ages to book in as I had phoned the week before and reserved a double room with someone that clearly doesn't understand much English so had to decipher what... More
