The Continental hotel is in excellent location, the staff are welcoming, our room which we booked by e-mail, was large and clean, the breakfast was enough - you can ask for a refill. We are lucky we found this hotel which saved us money. We will use it again.

We stayed for 3 nights at the continental hotel, our room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds, the shower was small ( like in most hotels in central London) but worked well and is good enough for one person,; the staff is very nice. We would stay there again.

We booked a double room with shared facilities at the continental hotel directly. The room was basic, it did not have any luxuries ( we didn't expect any with the money we paid) but was always clean, quiet and safe. We already booked a room there for our next trip to London.

A friend from London booked us directly at the continental hotel as he used this hotel in the past and was quite happy. The rooms are basic but clean, the staff are friendly, we also had breakfast which keeps you full until lunch time. We would certainly book again.

The continental hotel is quite central, the rooms are basic but clean, the staff is friendly, there is no lift like the other hotels on the same street but for us was ok. We were happy and definitely we would book again.

I booked directly at the continental hotel for few nights, my room and the bathroom was clean, the staff are friendly and ready to help when you ask them, the breakfast is basic but sufficient. Now I have a base in London.

We read some negative reviews about the continental hotel but we don't understand why people are moaning with these cheap prices what do they expect? We think it is good value for money with this financial crisis. We booked directly, our room was clean with comfy beds and clean linen, the price also included continental breakfast which was adequate. Overall,... More

Couldn't be worse. Those looking for value for money should look elsewhere. Rude reception service; dirty, dingy rooms, banged up walls in need of paint. My room even had a window that wouldn't close due to half a dozen thick wires leading in from outside. Management doesn't even provide towels for rooms with private baths. Further warning: no lifts, so... More

I stayed in a single room for couple of days, the hotel is very basic but clean, safe and secure with 24 hours reception. Everywhere is within easy reach, it is well located just around the corner from underground and rail station. I would stay again.
