The location as others have mentioned is ideal for tourists visiting London. The West Kensington Tube station is two minutes walk and there are couple of grocery stores on the way. The accommodations itself are nice, old but nice. We stayed in a one bedroom apt at the street level. Being in a residential neighborhood, it was quite through the... More

Family of 6 stayed on the top floor which is a 3bd apartment. There is no lift and the stairs are narrow and tight. Not a problem for us and for most people, but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. While it sleeps 6, it was quite a tight fit with luggage, etc. We only brought... More

This is a gem of a self catering hotel in Kensington, London. Just a few hundred yards from West Kensington tube. Well equipped kitchenette and bathroom complete with washer/dryer. Very comfortable rooms in a quiet area but not far from central london (just outside Zone 1 on the underground) Mark who runs theplace is very helpful. Great for those on... More

This was a really nice place for a family vacation. We all came in at different times and Mark worked with us to ensure that the first one to arrive had access to the apartment. The location was really nice with in walking distance to 2 subway stations and multiple grocery stores and restaurants and pubs. The owner and manager... More

My husband, me, and our toddler stayed here for 2 weeks in Feb/March. It's an excellent home base for London. We stayed in the family studio. Service: I want to point out that Richard and Mark were very quick to address our concern when we smelled cig. smoke due to others staying. I sent an email at 10:30pm at night,... More

From the initial email exchanges to ensuring our taxi arrived on time when we left. Mark proved himself a memorable landlord. His willingness to help and attention to detail is reason enough to return. If you are wanting a base from which to venture out, a place where you can relax at the end of a day sightseeing, somewhere to... More

As a 1st time business traveler to London, I could not have asked for a better short term rental and location. Richard greeted me upon arrival. The apartment was very clean. The entire staff at MyLondonLet was prompt and courteous during my entire stay. You are within a 2 minute walk to the Underground (Be sure to mind the gap), Taxis,... More

Family of five stayed in a 2 bedroom flat for a week. Large bedroom with queen, smaller bedroom with 2 twins, and cot in living room. Kitchen, dining room and living room share a third large room. Re-modelled bath. Beds could use an upgrade, the twins and cot especially as they were somewhat deformed from overuse. Carpeting was worn and... More

Period of stay: 14-16 October 2013 in Castletown Studio. Being first time travellers to the UK, we relied heavily on the reviews given via tripadvisor before going ahead to confirm our booking. And we certainly wasn't disappointed with our choice! Here's why: Initially booked and made 50% payment for a week's stay but due to changes in our itinerary, we... More

To Mark and his wonderful team at Castletown House, Christmas greetings from India! We have such warm memories of our summer holiday at Castletown in May this year. It was our first experience of living in London, but we had such a lovely stay because Castletown House was located so close to the underground station and well connected to all... More
