We stayed in a family studio apartment for 7 nights in August 2014. The location is excellent, about 1 minute walk from the West Kensington tube station and also not too far away from Baron's Court (which is on a different line). Neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Supermarket, 2 x convenience stores, 2 x coffee shops are all within a... More

Great location near two different tube stops and the 3 bedroom we stayed in was recently updated and in good shape. A convenient and nice place to stay, but it could have been better. We arrived on a warm day and the windows weren't opened before we arrived - we roasted that night. The place needs a deep cleaning, it... More

We did not have any surprises when we reached the accomodation. everything that is advertised is true. Location is convinient from a central london, tube station standpoint. Tesco is next door. Rooms (bedroom and bathrooms) are small, however they are clean. Kitchen is well equipped. We made atleast one meals everyday and made use of the Kitchen. The price per... More

My family and I stayed at Castletown in April of 2014. We arrived at around 8pm and one of the owners ( I think his name is Mark..sorry I can't quite remember) greeted us in the front door. He was very kind and welcomed us warmly. One negative was there aren't any elevators ( We were on the third floor)... More

Good place near the city of London. A metro station in the neighbourhood and shops where you can buy your food. The Appartement was good equipment and clean. We will recommend this house to other people.

The location as others have mentioned is ideal for tourists visiting London. The West Kensington Tube station is two minutes walk and there are couple of grocery stores on the way. The accommodations itself are nice, old but nice. We stayed in a one bedroom apt at the street level. Being in a residential neighborhood, it was quite through the... More

Family of 6 stayed on the top floor which is a 3bd apartment. There is no lift and the stairs are narrow and tight. Not a problem for us and for most people, but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. While it sleeps 6, it was quite a tight fit with luggage, etc. We only brought... More

This is a gem of a self catering hotel in Kensington, London. Just a few hundred yards from West Kensington tube. Well equipped kitchenette and bathroom complete with washer/dryer. Very comfortable rooms in a quiet area but not far from central london (just outside Zone 1 on the underground) Mark who runs theplace is very helpful. Great for those on... More

This was a really nice place for a family vacation. We all came in at different times and Mark worked with us to ensure that the first one to arrive had access to the apartment. The location was really nice with in walking distance to 2 subway stations and multiple grocery stores and restaurants and pubs. The owner and manager... More

My husband, me, and our toddler stayed here for 2 weeks in Feb/March. It's an excellent home base for London. We stayed in the family studio. Service: I want to point out that Richard and Mark were very quick to address our concern when we smelled cig. smoke due to others staying. I sent an email at 10:30pm at night,... More
