A warm welcome from Julia and a pot of tea and delicious cake on arrival. Rooms were great, beds very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Julia was so helpful ringing for a cab to go to the O2.. Julia organised a visitors parking permit for our stay and we were able to roam around the Greenwich shops, markets and... More

I stayed at Number 37 for 10 days while waiting for my permanent accommodation to become available. The location was fantastic: right next to Greenwich Park, 5 minutes walk to the Cutty Sark DLR and about 2 minutes walk from Heapes' famous sausage cafe! Julia set me up in the smaller room. But it was wonderful. Steaming hot water in... More

We chose Greenwich as our tour started from here and we're so glad we did! Julia made our stay in London so much more enjoyable as she was the perfect host throughout our stay. We were greeted with a cuppa and felt totally at home in their house. The location was ideal to sightsee around Greenwich but far enough away... More

Easily a place I would stay in again. I love that Greenwich is removed from down-town London, yet close enough to access easily. We took both the train and a boat on the Thames. This little gem is located right by Greenwich Park and a short walk to the shore of the river. Julia was a wonderful hostess (loved the... More

Stayed for a couple of days sightseeing in the area and found everthing about this place very comfortable and charming. Very central for touristy stuff and Julia and Steve were helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend to friends.

Just had a memorable stay at Number 37. Found via website for a complicated stay (night shoot in the park next door). Being able to phone to check availability (landline number on website) hugely helpful. Julia and Steve perfect hosts. Home from home. Could not have been more helpful. Room, access, facilities, flexibility, comfort - can't fault anything. Left hoping... More

We stayed in this lovely little B&B 17th Jan 2015 and were delighted with our choice. The hosts are charming and extremely friendly and the breakfast was delicious - thank you Julia. I came all the way from Malaysia and stayed at B&B @ No 37 for a week from 2nd to 9th Jan 2015. The first 2 days were with my daughter before she checked into her college. Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
