We stayed in this lovely little B&B 17th Jan 2015 and were delighted with our choice. The hosts are charming and extremely friendly and the breakfast was delicious - thank you Julia. The room is extremely comfortable and spacious and surprisingly quiet - we had a great nights sleep (well needed after a busy day sightseeing in London!) No 37... More

I came all the way from Malaysia and stayed at B&B @ No 37 for a week from 2nd to 9th Jan 2015. The first 2 days were with my daughter before she checked into her college. We chose No 37 based on previous favorable reviews. I also wanted something more welcoming, personal and graced with local know-hows. I was... More

Stayed for three nights here with the charming hosts, Julia and Steve. A couple of points that need to be considered when looking at any B and B's or Hotels in Greenwich. Location - this place is perfectly placed within walking distance of rail/ river boat connections as well as local pubs and restaurants. All are within easy walking distance.... More

We had a wonderful welcome from Julia. The room was a good size, with a small garden, for our use only, just through the French doors. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. It's well situated, just a short walk from Greenwich Park, the DLR railway and the boats to central London. We'll stay there again, happy to spend... More

Very happy with our one night stay, great location to explore Greenwich. Julia was the perfect host, the rooms are very good, (the garden room in particular is lovely), and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. Would definitely stay again, much better value than the hotel chains.

We recently spent 3 days at no37 and couldnt fault it. The garden room was beautifully furnished and spacious. As mentioned by others it fealt like an oasis of calm.. The location is excellent - within a few minutes walk of bars, restaurants, museums and good transport links. We were well looked after by Julia the owner who prepared a... More

This was a lovely place to stay. We had the garden room - a double bed and an extra single- with private bathroom and access to the courtyard. The hosts were very warm, welcoming and helpful. It was great to return to a quiet and comfortable room after the hustle and bustle of central London (we took the clipper up... More

Having looked at the hotel alternatives in the Greenwich and decided they were overpriced (even for London) I happened upon Number 37 and was glad I did. My wife and I stayed for three nights, partly as a birthday treat for me and partly to see my son (studying at nearby Trinity Laban) in his first year show. Nothing was... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
