I stayed in the smaller of the two available rooms as a solo traveller. Very convenient if you are attending an event at the O2. The welcoming cup of tea, the biscuits left for the morning tea and the sumptious breakfast exemplifies the warmth of the host, Julia. The small room is adequate if you are travelling alone. If you... More

Visiting the O2? Or Greenwich as a tourist? Don't stay at a sterile, soulless establishment that spoils the end of your day. Julia is warm and welcoming and Number 37 is situated in a brilliant location so easy for the O2 and, as we found, so accessible from London City Airport on the DLR. Room is cosy and warm, breakfast... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October. We chose this as we wanted something different from the usual big hotel chains and we weren't disappointed. Julia is a natural and charming host, and after a long and stressful journey to be greeted with tea and homemade cake was just perfect. Julia's knowledge of the area, what... More

My daughter and I stayed six nights in this superb B&B in Greenwich. Close to tube and trains and excellent pubs where to dine. We had a beautiful an quiet gardenroom . Julia was extremely nice and helpful to us. Breakfast was great! I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting London!

Spent few days in October 2015 in Greenwich, escaping from overpriced and crowdy hotels in Canary Wharf. The stay was very nice at Number 37, restful and charming, thanks to Julia's warm and friendly welcome. Thank you very much!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in late October. The accommodation is located very close to the main attractions in Greenwich, the Thames Clipper and the DLR, and is therefore perfect for exploring the area as well as getting into London. Our hosts were helpful, obliging and friendly, and had a sparking sense of humour. The breakfasts... More

Highly recommend this B & B! I stayed seven nights in the Garden Room which is spacious w/ a wardrobe, comfortable chairs, and daybed. The view and access to the garden was an added bonus. The breakfast is delicious with an abundance of food choices. Julia communicates promptly and is very helpful and accommodating. Perfect location...walking distance to the train,... More

I'm glad I found this cozy place a stonethrow away from O2! Julia's a lovely and discreet host, and I totally enjoyed showing of my room keys and swooshing in and out of the place like I actually lived there :) oh, and I'm still stuffed on breakfast! Will definitely stay again if I manage to get hold of any... More

I have stayed in a number of Bed and Breakfasts and Hotels in Greenwich and this is the best by far. The location could not be better, it is in the centre of town on a quiet side street. Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
