First of all, the lovely Greenwich is so perfect for a stay in London. Its calm, scenic and clean. Secondly, the lovely host of the house Julia Bridge is beyond!! She is funny, charming, and knows exactly what you need before you need it. The rooms are clean and spacioius, the decor is beautiful, and last but not least, Julia's... More

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast. There are a great many chain hotels popping up all around London and they seem to be cold and without character. 37 is not one of these - It is warm, quaint and 5 minutes away from central London by train. Julia is an enthusiastic host who knows a lot about London -... More

Number 37 is on a quiet residential street which is ideally placed for walking to shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and all the attractions of Greenwich like the Cutty Sark and the magnificent park. It is also incredibly close to 2 stations on the DLR and several frequent bus services. The owner Julia is a charming, amusing and helpful hostess who... More

What a find this was! Lovely, elegant (with quirky touches) townhouse in Greenwich. My daughter and I shared the garden room which was delightful. Pretty decor, comfy beds, so peaceful - I couldn't believe it for London, slept so well. Wonderful breakfast with everything you could want and more, beautifully presented. And a funny, charming and helpful host - what... More

Great find and an extremely friendly home - in an ideal location; it is close to the train station and the Royal Park as well as the markets and Greenwich tome centre. Room was homely and all that is described is accurate. Other reviews are just as accurate - so recommend emailing; note only a couple of rooms so book... More

House in residential area of Greenwich where the two rooms on the groundfloor are for B&B. Julia made us feel immediately feel welcome and at home, and so does the decoration of the room. Greenwich was the ideal location for us. Relatively quiet area but yet plenty of stores, pubs and restaurants. And the train brings you in 10 minutes... More

All the great reviews are spot-on. Our room was very comfortable and Julia made every effort to make our stay a pleasant one. She is a gracious hostess and puts out a great spread for breakfast. Location is quiet but minutes' walk from all the sights in Greenwich and from the DLR station for further London excursions. We loved our... More

A warm welcome from Julia and a pot of tea and delicious cake on arrival. Rooms were great, beds very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Julia was so helpful ringing for a cab to go to the O2.. Julia organised a visitors parking permit for our stay and we were able to roam around the Greenwich shops, markets and... More

I stayed at Number 37 for 10 days while waiting for my permanent accommodation to become available. The location was fantastic: right next to Greenwich Park, 5 minutes walk to the Cutty Sark DLR and about 2 minutes walk from Heapes' famous sausage cafe! Julia set me up in the smaller room. But it was wonderful. Steaming hot water in... More

We chose Greenwich as our tour started from here and we're so glad we did! Julia made our stay in London so much more enjoyable as she was the perfect host throughout our stay. We were greeted with a cuppa and felt totally at home in their house. The location was ideal to sightsee around Greenwich but far enough away... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
