The room is so comfortable with no traffic noise . Breakfast with home baked bread provides a great start to the day. Good access to buses and not far from Shepherds Bush for tubes. For us it was a perfect place to stay with family close by. Thank you Su and Martin, we will be back. L and M.

29 Melrose Gardens is terrific! I go to London a lot for work and I've stayed at many different hotels and guest houses, always disappointing in one way or another. I stumbled upon 29 Melrose Gardens by complete accident but it turned out to be the best of the many places where I've stayed. It's a lovely old Victorian terraced... More

I billeted by Grandfather to Melrose Gardens, he is elderly and needed somewhere clean, friendly, comfortable and quiet. Sue delivered on every level. It was fantastic to know that at the end of each day my guest would be looked after to the best standard and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. A brilliant operation that deserves every success! Thanks.

This is a wonderful B&B for quiet travellers and families. It is on a very quiet street. There are only 3 rooms. You are very close to either Hammersmith or Shepard's bush by bus. Su and Martin are happy to prepare whatever you like for breakfast. They are happy to put blankets on the bed instead of comforters if that... More

A little gem. Convenient location for all of London's attractions. Clean and attractive rooms. Excellent choice at breakfast. Charming host and hostess full of information on London activities and extremely helpful in planning one's day. Strongly recommended.

I recently stayed at Melrose Gardens with a friend whilst we were attending a conference at Kensington Olympia (which is in easy walking distance, about 10 minutes). Martin and Su were very welcoming and kind to us and it was a pleasure to stay in their lovely family home. Our twin room was very clean and comfortable and had everything... More

Thanks for beeing in your house. It was really nice, quite and you are so kindly. I enjoyed the conversation during breakfest with Martin and liked the homemade joghurt. Bath and room very clean. Next time I'll be in your home again.

We enjoyed very much our one week stay at Su and Martin's home. The warm-hearted couple did everything to satisfy all our wishes. We had a delicious freshly prepared breakfast with all kinds of jams, a fried egg on toast and home-made bread. We were offered fresh fruit juice, tea or coffee as much as we liked and we could... I stayed at the B&B for only one night, but I could immediately tell that this place is great. The owners, Su and Martin, greeted me when I came in and Martin showed me around the house. They made me feel welcome and at home immediately. It's a lovely house with a big kitchen and a beautiful little garden. I... More

We enjoyed our 3 nights here, Su and Martin welcome you into their home and offer wonderful advice on where to do and what to do. Hammersmith and Goldhawk Road tubes are less than 10 minutes walk away. The location on Melrose Gardens is peaceful for London and we had some great nights sleep. Continental breakfast of cereals, toast and... More
