We had a great time, the YHA London Central was very convenient and, as the title suggests, very central. The only bad point was that some of the guests arrived back at night very late, and they were not particularly quiet!

YHA London Central offered everything promised. The price was fair, room was clean, private and public toilette, too. The location was perfect to explore London. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not continental but for 5 pounds it was sufficient.

Stayed in a four bed private room for a night out. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. It felt very safe staying here. Bedding was fresh and the hostel spotless. It was great to see the café still open when we arrived back at 2am. Breakfast for very good value for the money. It... More

This hostel has a very young, fun vibe. The rooms and bathrooms and clean and comfortable, and the locker room is a safe place to store any belongings. Internet is not free though, and if it is something you need you may as well pay for the 24 hour pass. Though you can't use wifi in the rooms, even if... More

I and three 'middle aged' ladies enjoyed a 2 night stay in this hostel, sharing an ensuite room. It was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay. We could leave our luggage while we explored London, and had choice of self-catering or eating out. Excellent for visitors on a tight budget. Staff were enthusiastic and... More

Friendly, not very clean, constant and not very good music in the common room. Very expensive, but good location. Felt industrial. Even in a private room, this is not a good retreat for couples. It's geared to young and seemingly bored euro youth. The music in the common room is crass and loud. Not a place to hang out and... More

As a 'recycled' teenager, I never did get to travel so much the first time round, so my stay at they Bolsover Street hostel was a real adventure for me, and long overdue. I chose to stay with the YHA because I was in London for a two day course over a weekend, and did not want to travel home... More

I stay at the YHA London Central almost every time I travel to London on my own, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a very welcoming lounge and bar area which is well stocked with a variety of drinks and food (they have a pizza deal though I've never tried it,...
