An excellent place with all the amenities you need. All transport options are very close and go to all the major attractions. The hosts are very friendly and keen to give assistance when requested. We were allowed the use of the apartment all day on our day of departure. Otherwise they will store luggage for you. Supermarkets and lots of... More

If you chose between Hilton and Captain Bligh we advice you to chose Captain Bligh. You will be more than satisfied with your stay. The hosts Gayna and Simon are very nice and sympathetic people and you will feel very Welcome in their house. It is a pleasure just to sit down and have a look around because they have... More

My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights in the London suite. Had a lovely warm welcome from Gayna and Simon. Gayna informed us of buses into town and the stops were yards away from the house. The Imperial War Museum was visible from our window and that was our first outing. The suite was very comfortable, well maintained, spotless,... More

Our London trip was divided into 2 parts...one 5 day stay at the beginning of our trip and then another 5 days at the end. The accommodations not only met our expectations but surpassed them. It was in the perfect local close to the London Eye, Westminster Bridge, the Borough Market (which is a must see!), the Imperial War Museum... More

This historic Inn has been nicely renovated and we especially loved the new, well equipped kitchen in our London suite. Gayna enjoys her room themes and finds unique furnishings to go with each room. Everything was clean and working and adequate, despite some tight spaces in the bathroom and bedroom. It is an old townhouse from the 1700's after all.... More

Well--I can't think of enough wonderful adjectives to describe my stay at Captain Bligh House. I stayed in the Captain's Cabin because I was a solo traveler and it was absolutely perfect. The new bed that they've put in the room is not only cool because it can be folded up and put away for more space in the room... More

I recently returned from a 6-night trip to London with my sister, and I am still missing my London apartment, aka the London Apartment at Captain Bligh House. What a gem. The house is located in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood, which was lovely to come home to after spending the day sampling the delights of that noisy, wonderful city.... More

We spent the last six days in the royal suite at captain bligh house & it was certainly a treat - the room is in royal colours & is furnished in all things royal. The location is great with tube & bus transport less than 15 minutes from the city centre - was great to be able to self cater... More

Gayna and Simon are delightful hosts. We rented three rooms for our family and then ultimately needed a fourth at the last minute, and they accommodated us even though it was personally inconvenient for them. The place is very nice. It's historic, with people routinely taking pictures of the plaque by the front door. The rooms are very nice. It's... More

Captain Bligh House is an excellent place to stay in central London because the hosts, Gayna and Simon have converted their terraced house into a series of individual and uniquely British-themed apartments with style and panache. This was our 3rd time and 2nd in the London Apartment. We highly recommend Bligh House especially for individuals, friends and couples who are... More
