We stayed here for two nights during a recent trip to London. Our room was charming with comfortable beds and a large, spotless well decorated bathroom. Continental breakfast is served in your room at a time to suit you. The staff were very friendly.

Juliette's was really delightful. On arrival, we were shown our spotless nicely decorated , en suite room (No.2) and offered tea, a cafetiere of coffee and chocolate biscuits. The room was eclectically but interestingly furnished, quiet, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was served in our room at a time of our choice, and included fruit juice, a selection of cereals, yoghurts,... More

A place we found under the name dawsonplace and it was ok. We had room nr 4 and the buses from the street was a bit load but managebul. Beds were comftable and bathroom nice. Easy to get to and staff nice. Some old interesting mix of furniture have a shabby impression as the chair were rather instabile but worked... More

We found this B&B under the name of "Dawson Place", so you can also check reviews under that name... First, the location is absolutely perfect. On a fairly quiet residential street. However, we were in the basement, Room #3. Unfortunately, our window faced Pembridge Rd., which was a bit noisy. Might not have been that bad, but the window didn't... More

We were there for 5 days. (A group of 4)The breakfast was great we really liked the jam. The staff (Agata) was great and really helpful. The place does need some updates but I think that is what gives it its charm. If we go back to London will definitely stay here again.

We were four in a room and had a very pleasant stay. The house is pretty (what a nice decoration, we loved it), the location was just perfect, the breakfast was always nice and people were very friendly. We will definitely come back to this B&B and recommend it. Thanks for all.

We were welcomed by a very friendly and English challenged Martin, but this didn't seem to be a problem. We stayed in the family room upstairs - a big double bed and a bunk bed for our girls. The bathroom was small, but had everything we needed including a hot, steamy shower. I'd best describe the room as shabby chic... More

Great location, breakfast was lovely, room was initially clean and tidy,However we had No 2 room in the basement and the decor seriously needs revamping, bed sheets worn ?quite dusty and although the staff were friendly and nice it was just a shame the bedding etc let them down,we only had 2 channels on the telly although we were out most of the... While it may not be the fanciest B&B, we would highly recommend staying here because of its fabulous location and wonderful hospitality. It's only a 2 minute walk to Notting Hill Gate tube which houses the Central, District and Circle Lines. (District and Circle were not operating during our visit) It is quite close to Portobello Road. My husband, 14... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
