Simply put, you can say it like this: It was gorgeous. The hosts are warmhearted and friendly. Don't miss the chance to taste Meenas great porridge,- it is fit for a king. Despite the urban djungle of London the Coachhouse offers a quite and particularly lovely atmosphere. Thank you so much, Meena and Harley! To sum up we can absolutely... More

We wanted a place near the rails but in a quiet location. The Coach House was perfect. A short walk to the train station and we could catch both the Tube and the Rail Service, excellent for our sightseeing agenda. Since we were in a separate building it was quiet with a beautiful view of the yard. Breakfast with the... More

We had a great stay at The Coach House! We were traveling with our two young adult sons, so two bathrooms and separate sleeping areas were important. I also wanted them to see more than just the tourist area of London and Balham fit the bill for this nicely. The metro was just a few blocks away and gave us... More

What a phenomenal week at the Coach House. The B&B exceeded our expectations. Harley and Meena are excellent hosts. At the end of our stay we felt like close acquaintances with them. The house is beautiful and quiet. Meena keeps and stunning and peaceful garden in the grounds, and her breakfasts were delicious. The travel recommendations we got from Harly... More

We spent a wonderful week in The Coach House. After enjoying the perfect breakfast in a very individual und personal way we were ready to discover the city. In the evening it was like coming home. All the pictures show the real situation, everything in a very good condition, clean and comfortable. Claudia P.

We enjoyed our stay! It is really a quiet place, the breakfast is awesome and the hosts are very friendly. The location close to Balham station allows you to travel to all the places of interest very quickly. London is an expensive city. But this is good value for money. After an experience with a bad hotel some years ago... More

After much searching, I chose The Coach House for our week-long stay for our family of four, despite it being a bit out of our intended price range. I found it to be worth the extra cost and not actually that much more expensive than a more central hotel for 4 people, especially if you add in breakfast and savings... More

A very nice bed & breakfast with two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. It is a quiet, safe neighborhood with easy access to the Tube and train (Balham station). Harley and Meena are fun and informative about not only tourist ideas but also about British culture and history. Meena is a great cook and made breakfast a significant event... More

We enjoyed five nights at the Coach House, appreciating the peace and comfort of the lodging along with Harley and Meena's company at breakfast. Yes, the porridge is amazing! From the upstairs bedroom, we had wonderful morning sun streaming through the south-facing windows, and a superb view over the beautiful garden and main house. Perfect for visiting our London family... More
