Stayed here for a Sunday night. It is ideally located and good value for a central London hotel. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was fantastic. Shower screen could be a bit bigger though. Doesn't look great on entry but lovely once you are in your room. Will definitely stay again.

Large rooms, comfy bed, spacious bathroom with a sweet mini-set of bath oils and soaps, tea making facilities and nice organic teabags in the room. On the weaker side - the room was incredibly hot - we had a heavy sleep in such a high temperature. The stuff could be a little friendlier and pro-active.

Booked this hotel based on recommendations on Trip Advisor and manged to find a good price on one of the search engines available from trip advisor site. I travelled on train from Scotland arriving at King's Cross. The hotel is directly opposite. Very pleasant staff on check in and a massive room with a view out to St Pancras. Did... More

We stayed at Megaro Hotel in Feb 2010 for 3 nights. The room is almost up to our expectation except for the bathroom. Whereas some review appreciated the multi-function shower, we found it extremely unfriendly to use. They should provide a shower curtain instead of the petite door. The floor is always wet after shower.

We splashed out and stayed in a delux room. This was a mistake, the room was big but just had nothing special about it. I wish we had just gone for one of the standard rooms because it seems from the reviews that these were good value for money. We tried to get room service at 10.31pm. They told us... More

Like so many others, I read the reviews on this hotel and thought it would be the perfect choice for our one night's stay in London. Now I'm not disagreeing with what has been written about the hotel in the most part - we stayed in an Executive Room which was spacious, comfortable, clean and very quiet considering its location.... KIngs Cross may not be the best location in London but to literally walk out of the tube station into the door of the hotel is about as convenient as you can get. The rooms were a good size and well decorated. Espresso machine was a nice touch but unfortunately ours was not working. All in all pretty good value... More

We stayed at the Megaro on a Saturday & Sunday night in January. We stumbled upon the hotel online & are really glad we took a chance on it. The area is not the greatest but the convenience for the Tube is second to none (as you walk out of the hotel a stairway down to Kings Cross underground is... More

What can I say for a great price and being right on the subway and train stations and only about by bus from the centre of town which we preferred to do. This hotel is very hip and trendy (an espresso maker and flat screen tv in the room). We even had complimentary newspaper every morning. The hotel was recently... More

This is a great location, right next to tube and mainline stations. The room was excellent - nice big towels, flat screen TV, etc - posh looking coffee maker, though I couldn't make it work! I got a very good room rate on Octopus Travel, but I'd be happy to pay more knowing I was going to be a reliable... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
