Although the outside looks like it might be a funky tourist spot, my room was modern and comfortable, with a good bath and WiFi. Hot breakfast was also good. It's across the street from St Pancras International, which means a great location for anyone arriving or departing on Eurostar or Gatwich or Luton Airports via Thamelink. It isn't the Ritz,... We booked this hotel again after staying for a few nights in 2010. Apart from the entrance now being around the corner, it seemed much the same. The location is very convenient, across the road from St Pancras International and Kings Cross tube, with connections to multiple underground lines. A few blocks away around Tavistock Place there are a few... More

We were wowed by the extra large room in this London hotel. Our previous memory of a London hotel was an inability to open suitcases in postal stamp size room. Our room had the capability to have two more single beds that were folded into the walls. The bathroom was large and comfortable. Our only difficulty was trying to figure... More

Located right across King Cross station. Family of five in a two area room, 2 TVs, spacious bathroom, great wifi connection. Trendy restaurant downstairs. Very nice and helpful front desk people. People warned us about hotel rooms in London but this one was great

Position of hotel was great for the weekend we'd got planned, staff were very polite and helpful, but thought for the price of £180 for the Saturday night stay, we should have had better fittings in the room, the toilet seat fell apart and we couldn't get the water hot enough to have either a comfortable shower or bath, we... After a 3 nights stay in Edinburgh, we arrived at King's Cross after more than 4 hours of travelling. At the train station itself, the Hotel Megaro could be seen very easily - just cross two small traffic lights and viola, you are at the Hotel. Super convenient! Check in was late and slow, hence, we were not too happy... More

Two night stay for leisure. We chose this hotel due to the close proximity to Kings Cross Station. Travelling with 7 luggages was difficult enough and luckily, Hotel Megaro is only a few minutes walk from the nearest tube station. We booked a one bedroom apartment for four people and the apartment is located one street away from the reception.... More

One night stay for business; efficient check in to room on 5th floor. Room reasonable size for London, all clean and well presented. Fantastic shower (although very high step into and out of bath would be dangerous for old/unsteady person). Expected level of street noise, but as I never travel without earplugs, not an issue. Got a decent sleep followed... More

Excellent location for travel on the Eurostar. 150 metres from the station. Very quiet room. The room was spacious but very impractical - de luxe room. Hairdryer nowhere near a mirror; no railings near the bath for towels or clothes. Very soft mattress - not good for the back. Hard and huge pillows. Struggled with the remote on the tv... More

You cannot beat the location. The adjoining breakfast restaurant was also tasty. However the hotel front desk staff were relatively brusk and refused to accept my credit card, which has been used at numerous locations all over the world. I had to use an alternate form of payment which was troublesome and the desk was not very friendly about it.... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
