If you can find reasonable rates here (they vary quite a lot), it's both a well-located hotel, and once to stay in too - a little quirky (not like a standard chain) with friendly staff and a good vibe. I just wish the prices were a little more consistent, as I stay here quite a lot - 4 times in... More

I was really impressed with this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It was no problem to store our bags before and after our stay. Our room was huge with a coffee machine and rainfall shower. I had asked for a room on an upper floor because obviously the hotel is on a main road and I thought... More

We stayed in The Megaro hotel for it's location. We were heading to two different parts of London for two different reasons, different to our usual journey of just pleasure. In terms of location, it is so convenient. Directly across from St Pancras Station, with access to many tube lines, making our journeys really easy. The hotel itself was nice,... More

Having stayed at a number of London hotels I am often disappointed with the quality, especially compared to 4 or 5 star hotels in the middles East and Asia. London hotels are over priced and old. I found Megaro by chance and liked the look on the website and found that in reality the hotel very much matched my expectations... More

Perfectly located opposite King Cross Station. Booked at last minute for an overnight stay in London. Booked a standard room but got a free upgrade to an executive. The room was excellent with loads of space and a large bathroom. The king size bed is one of the most comfortable hotel bedrooms I have slept in. Our room had full... More

Right across from King's Cross, with excellent connections to everywhere. Not the most popular neighborhood, but it's actually pretty nice, and very close to both Bloomsbury to the south and Islington to the north. One block from the British Library. Service was very friendly, but they couldn't figure out how to make a collect call from their phones (I would... More

Located right in front of King's Cross station with easy access for transportation (and to take the eurostar) or even to walk to the central on foot. Though breakfast is not provided there are plenty of choices around the area. Spacious room for a single traveller, however the hotel is still overly charged in considered the room and facilities is... More

As noted, this boutique hotel is directly across from the St. Pancras train station. We booked this hotel at the least minute after moving up our departure from Paris. What a delightful find! We enjoyed two charming rooms, great service, and a wonderfully convenient locale. We were able to walk all around the neighborhood or access the tube easily.

I stayed at Megaro hotel on Friday 3rd July, i was in contact via email with a staff member called dean, he said that due to me writing down on the special request that it will be my sons 6th birthday, he then emailed me and said that he would be arranging a small cake and special birthday card for... Arrived at St Pancreas station and walked less than 200 meters to this fantastic Art Deco looking hotel. Brilliant staff, spacious room, bath, espresso machine and right in the middle of London town. Close to restaurants and Kings Cross station and the vast tube network. Funky breakfast room and cool cocktail lounge downstairs!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
