This hotel has no idea how to treat clients who have a problems with their room. I had a number of issues incl no washing facilities, phone not working , lights faulty, room thermostat problem and no instructions about any facilities or services . When I asked for compensation I got short shrift from the ops manager who refused to... More

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Hotel Megaro. The hotel is very well located, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and of a generally excellent quality given its (relatively reasonable) price. The food in the restaurant/bar on the ground floor of the hotel is fantastic (try the pancakes for breakfast!). I would especially like to send... More

Really like it here. It's location is absolutely brilliant- King's Cross station connects to almost everywhere. Great food at your doorstep. The deluxe room is spacious, clean lines, practical and very clever touches. I had an Illy coffee maker, Sky TV and the Internet is free (fast connection!) Love the spacious bathroom and the Orla Kelly toiletries. I'll be sure... More

This was the worst hotel experience I've had. Security The desk gave out my room number to a man who was not registered in the room with me. He was a representative of a company that I was to meet the next day. Under no circumstances is it ever acceptable to give a room number out to someone who is... More

The family room had two pull down beds which during the day gave huge floor space for our boys to play. The beds and linen were of very good quality. The coffee machine was a great bonus and a kettle as well. The bathrooms were really cool - the showers were great fun for the kids with lots of nozzles.... More

Great location across from Kings Cross station. Beautifully designed and fitted out. The staff were warm and helpful, and the restaurant does an excellent breakfast. What more could you ask for? Recommended. .

location is spot on within 100yrds of St Pancras and Kings Cross stations. Ideal for a stopover or indeed short break. Reception is welcoming, warm and modern with excellent staff. Room was large for London with modern design and above average fixtures and fittings Nice coffee making facility's and well stocked mini bar

The Megaro is directly across the road from St. Pancras Station and Kings Cross Station. But it's location is the least of its charms! It has welcoming staff, comfortable beds, good coffee and tea in the rooms, and a great bathroom. Just be warned that the shower may need some time spent trying to figure out how to turn it... More

My Partner and I stayed at the Megaro Hotel for a week during January, It was my first time traveling to London and i have to say the place added more satisfaction to this! The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the Kings Cross Station, which is just at your door step. Although my partner and i never... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
