Our trip to London was not too long but time in Hotel was very good. There was good breakfast, nice peoples and nice service. Maybe in first look it do not look great but after hour everything is fine. For short and concentrated on sight seeing trips this is just perfect. Close to Victoria rail and bus station is additional... More

I'm not one to slate a hotel, but I have to on this occasion.. We stayed in this hotel back in 2011. The hotel was grand to walk in to, but that's about it. On booking in we was asked if we wanted to upgrade which my wife refused. When we found our room after hundreds of steps and corridors,... More

Breakfast was continental but could have as much as you want x easy access to wetherspoons across the road and Victoria bus and train and tube stations x... More

Pros - central position, easy walking distance of Westminster, bedding and towels clean, fairly quiet room, pleasant desk staff Cons - tiny room, rickety bed, curtains off rail, loose tap, blocked shower drain

If you are looking for a cheap hotel near the Victoria train station and WALKING DISTANCE to all the downtown London theatres and attractions then this hotel is good. If you want first class accommodation then look elsewhere. Room was clean with an interesting trip up the circular stairs, reception was fantastic, breakfast ok.

Straight in from the Gatwick Express, 2 minutes walk and there you are. A lot of money has been spent on refurbishing the hotel. Even though we were on the street and traffic side, we had exceptionally little noise. A good night sleep waking up rested and ready for a big breakfast and the tasks of the day. Everything was... Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
