My wife and I stayed here for two nights, the staff here very welcoming and helpful. The room we had was very small just enough room for 2 suitcases 2 ppl and a double bed! It was a great experience. The breakfast is nothing special but did the job. Close to the train station and few restaurants. Well worth the... More

I just love it here and i'm already planning my next stay at this hotel for december! Delicious breakfast, friendly stuff, very clean bathrooms and rooms, excellent location in a very good area. Buses right on the corner of the street to take you in the heart of London. Also go around the neighborhood and the parks!! You can walk... More

We booked this hotel for its proximity to Kensington Olympia and for its price. Had we have been staying for a couple of days it would have been great but for a longer stay it was less perfect. There was only a hanging wardrobe with the bar from front to back so quite difficult to hang and find clothing, no... More

We stayed here for 5 nights during our first week in London. It was a good price and in a good location (5 minutes walk to High Street Kensington and 20 minutes walk to the tube). That's probably where the benefits end though. On our first morning, we were woken up with banging and hammering right next to our heads... More

Many thanks for your review. We always want our guests’ to have an enjoyable stay with us. So we are very disappointed that you were disturbed in the morning. However, we never start any maintenance work or repairs until after 9 am, so as not to disturb our guests. If work was to be done, we would always advise the... More

We stayed at the LVH for a week in July. We found the staff to be accommodating and friendly. The price is reasonable. There is no elevator, so all luggage must be carried up the stairs. When we got to our room we were surprised how small it was. We know European hotel rooms are not large, but this was... More

The staff was very welcoming. We stayed in a building 20metres from the main building. The room was brand new and very clean although quite small. The hotel is in Kensington in a quiet residential area, 15min walk from Holland Park (underground station). There are buses, shops and restaurants 2 min walk from the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for one whole week with my family in July 2014. Stepping into the hotel was like stepping into a different century, but in an entirely good way. From the small lobby you can step into the comfortable looking sitting room (complete with fireplace and chess set), or to the dining room. The dining room is... More

The location was pretty good. The room was clean and the toilets were all good. The staff was relatively nice and breakfast was very good. It's also a beautiful building to look at itself. The only problem was they didn't have phones in each room, so when I desperately needed to make an urgent call I needed to use the... More

It's a nice place and more a large B&B than a hotel. The things I liked most are: a) Very pleasant staff and owners. Laid back, friendly and helpful. Good housekeeping. b) The old fashioned (: Victorian I guess?? :) living room with the interesting wall paper, big leather armchairs, wooden chess set, proper fire place, grandfather clock, chandelier, big...
