I had been to the Barbican and needed dinner so stopped in here with friends. I had the burger and fries and it was delicious. My friends both had the lamb shank pie. They loved that too. The service was good. If you are passing by and need to find some decent food. This is perfect. I liked the old... More

Went on a travelzoo voucher. £28 2 courses and a glass if prosecco for 2. Was not disappointed the food was awsome. I would defo return. The waitress was really nice and attentive. However, without a voucher is quite pricey for a pub. Starters and deserts around £7 mains vary from £12 -£19 average £15.95. Wine is about £5 for... More

We stayed here for four nights and by far had the most amazing time there. Besides the rooms being beautiful, the food was incredible and well priced, the location was fabulous and the staff were wonderful and great people! We spent most of our time here it felt like home. There was absolutely no noise that traveled from the pub... More

After a horrendous journey down and a steamy London day I was delighted to discover that The Market Suite was even better than anticipated, and the look of sheer joy on my partners face as he threw the door open onto this absolute gem of a suite made me know I had indeed done the right thing. Huge firm bed,... More

I continue to rate this traditional London pub with rooms above it. I've been staying here for years when doing business in the city. The bedroom/bathroom are quirky, a world away from the sterility of the big chain hotels. All the man kit you could want, from the William Holland sinks and baths, to Sky TV and Wi-Fi in the... More

Stayed here on a Bank Holiday Monday & was greeted by a very friendly guy who let us drop our bags off early. Staff were super friendly & the room was flawless. The photos on their website do not do them justice. Sky TV & free wifi as free extras! Had a 3 course meal and cannot fault the food... More

We stayed here on 2 April 2014 and absolutely LOVED it. The pub is traditional, full of character and has a great, lively and warm feel to it. From the moment of arrival , the experience was faultless. The key for the Hotel room was acquired from the owner/manager, who was welcoming, approachable and helpful. Of the bar staff, we... More

We ate here on Sunday evening inMarch. Get here before eight to order, lots of small den like rooms at the back, perfect for a party of four, six or eight. Or two! We had fish pie and sausage and lentil stew and both were delicious as was the spinach and leek side dish. It was fairly quiet as it... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for his birthday in 2013, the room is beautiful and the location is amazing. We called up again this year for a repeat booking as it was so good, but on the phone the staff were rude and unfriendly. I asked the price of the room and on given a higher price than the... More
