I was impressed to get in on a Friday afternoon with a party of 8, and the venue itself is nice. We all opted for afternoon tea with champagne, which was quite nice. It wasn't amazing, but perhaps I am picky. I've enjoyed afternoon tea in a few hotels and this was my least favourite. The sandwiches were nice and... More

I took my daughter for afternoon tea as a treat, as the reviews for tea were exemplary, unfortunately we were both disappointed. The tea itself was good, however the rest of the service was tasteless and unappetizing. In addition, service was almost nonexistent and cleanliness was an issue. I paid almost 75.00 USD and felt ripped off in the end.

My wife and I spent our 44th Wedding Anniversary here and thoroughly enjoyed it, Being a group member and a great Beatles fan you will understand why we chose this hotel! I have stayed in most of the 4 star hotels in Liverpool and rate this the best. The location is excellant, just round the corner from the re vamped... More

I was on a Beatle pilgrimage tour and this was one of the hotels we stayed in. Impressive as far as Beatles pictures and memorabilia. Very nice hotel, but make sure to bring your own wash cloths. Disappointing for an upscale hotel not to supply any. No note pads or pens, pretty much the basics. We were not offered early... More

I got a great "deal" on this hotel but found that the little Ibis Styles around the corner was a much better deal. The breakfast was not included, they do have a concierge who booked tickets to Lennon for us (a must see by the way). It is nice to say you have stayed here if you a Beatles fan.... More

My wife booked this hotel as a surprise Christmas present for me. Being a massive Beatles fan it was right up my street. We drove down from Glasgow and parked in the Q park at Liverpool One, not far from the hotel, where you get discounted parking if you stay there. The Hotel itself is like the band... Fab! Our... On initial entry to the hotel we were impressed. Friendly reception staff and nice decor. The room we booked was a deluxe room and again it was as expected. A few little touches missing for this standard of hotel. Slippers but no robes. Ordered a newspaper that never arrived. Poor quality toiletries. No pens with notepad. Little things but just... More

Stayed here with some friends, one of whom is a Beatles die-hard fan. HDN Hotel was the center of our pilgrimage. It is a delightful place: quiet, clean, and very well-managed. The staff was instrumental in arranging day trips, places to eat, etc. And I fell in love with Liverpool. It has a great mix of modern and old, pubs... More

As a huge Beatles fan I would have been OK with this hotel being cheesy or over-the-top, but it was not at all! It is a very nice hotel and it is all done very tastefully. The front desk & concierge were very nice and extremely helpful. We loved the location--just a couple of blocks from great shopping, coffee shops... More

I have stayed in this hotel five times now. Its location in the heart of Liverpool provides the perfect base to get around. Just around the corner from the busy nightlife and equally just around the corner from the all new L1 area. Some rooms are a bit small but overall I loved it. The Beatles theme is really quirky...
