The room was lovely, the staff member that checked me in/out was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. It cost me under £5 for a taxi from the airport to the Gateway Lodge, so the location couldn't have been better. Will definitely stay again. More

Used the Gateway Lodge as I had an early flight out of Liverpool airport. The Lodge was everything I wanted, clean, lovely room, great facilities, very quiet, very reasonable price and an easy 1/2 mile walk to the airport ( or staff will arrange a taxi for you). Convenient for airport and only a short ride to the town centre - about 20 mins. Very good value, clean and comfortable room and en suite.Our only negative comment is that breakfast was only served up to 8.30 even on a Sunday! As a reslult we were the first visitors of the day at the Tate Gallery at 10.00. More

I enjoyed staying here, the staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Room was always very clean and was very spacious. Flat screen telly and refreshments and free Wi-Fi.
