This was our 2nd stay at 62 Castle St and we enjoyed it as much as the 1st time. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated. I agree with some of the other comments made that the lighting is rather difficult for putting make up on, and the tap is ridiculously low over the basin so you can't get your... More

This hotel is well located near the Albert docks and liverpools night life , nice hotel although the rooms could do with a bit of an update , reception staff friendly and helpful , no bar or provision for breakfast but there is a good cafe opposite for breakfast , Malmaison is a similar price but with better amenities ,... Smack bang in the city centre, you can't say you aren't close to everything but because it is where it is, there is ZERO in the way parking facilities - not even a drop-off zone. This means that you have to gamble that there are spaces outside the hotel (in the small number of pay to park bays) so that... More

I visited Liverpool at the end of October to go to a concert and already had accommodation sorted for the Saturday night. However, I decided to extend my trip by a day and stay on the Friday night too. I chose this hotel because it had consistent good reviews and the photos looked great and it was in an ideal... More

Having stayed here before we were shocked at the change to this hotel in 1 year, its become very tired and worn. Last stay we felt it was luxurious and were excited to go back but wouldn’t stay again after a recent 2 nights stay unfortunately. The toiletries were lovely but the windows, tiles, bath, carpets everything felt so musty... More

This hotel was a nice hotel, but value for money I would have to say average. We had a room on the top floor. The room was spacious enough and we loved the fact there was a dining table, sofa and comfortable king sized bed. In the bathroom, there were loose tiles under the sink, but other than that not... I stayed at this hotel for one night with my partner on the 24th October, we had a superior room. I have to say the location is fantastic right next to Liverpool 1 shopping centre. It was my first stay in Liverpool and I was amazed at the size of the room. Lovely tall ceilings, a 'living room' area with... More

First impressions were everything I hoped for - a discreet, classy entrance from the street, beautiful reception. Check in was swift, organized and without problem. Our room was very attractive - split level, with a large bathroom, huge bed and living area with sofa, large screen TV, stereo, wardrobe, wall sized mirror. The bed was the best feature - plush,...
