I have stayed in the hotel a number of times over the past couple of years reviewing it regularly and unfortunately my reviews have been getting progressively worse each time. Stayed here with my wife on Saturday 13th December as we had a night our arranged in Liverpool with colleagues. Firstly the rate had been hiked up considerably to £145... More

Very handy hotel within walking distance of shops and bars and the Beatles quarter, and not far from the dockside museums and attractions. Parking at Liverpool 1 shopping centre is a short walk away and concession price with the hotel. No bar or restaurant, but plenty of them close by. Don't bother paying for breakfast as you will be better... More

This hotel is fab for location which is what we wanted. Very unhelpful lady at reception, due to very poor advise we missed our train back to london. The room was very dark it was hard to see to get ready. We couldn't stand up in the shower, the shower head was too low. We struggled to fill the kettle... More

Stayed here the other night with my girlfriend as one of her birthday gifts. We love the city so visited for the night, dinner, gig drinks etc, and booked this place to top it all off. As the title suggests - WOW. Absolutely stunning building, absolutely stunning rooms. It was like having a plush Manhattan apartment for the night. Huge... More

Liverpool was very busy the weekend of the 22nd for a boxing event, meaning we had problems parking our car. However, we rang the staff and they were excellent in guiding us and giving us information on what to do. Furthermore, the lady on reception was warm and inviting. The hotel itself was very clean and our superior room was... More

We stayed at 62 for 4 nights. The rooms are very spacious, with plenty of room for friends to hang out in the sofa area. I really liked that the bed was standing on a higher floor level. It gave the room some character. The walls needs to be refurbished, though It's not flawless. But it did not really matter to us.... More

This was our 2nd stay at 62 Castle St and we enjoyed it as much as the 1st time. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated. I agree with some of the other comments made that the lighting is rather difficult for putting make up on, and the tap is ridiculously low over the basin so you can't get your... More

This hotel is well located near the Albert docks and liverpools night life , nice hotel although the rooms could do with a bit of an update , reception staff friendly and helpful , no bar or provision for breakfast but there is a good cafe opposite for breakfast , Malmaison is a similar price but with better amenities ,... Smack bang in the city centre, you can't say you aren't close to everything but because it is where it is, there is ZERO in the way parking facilities - not even a drop-off zone. This means that you have to gamble that there are spaces outside the hotel (in the small number of pay to park bays) so that... More

I visited Liverpool at the end of October to go to a concert and already had accommodation sorted for the Saturday night. However, I decided to extend my trip by a day and stay on the Friday night too. I chose this hotel because it had consistent good reviews and the photos looked great and it was in an ideal... More
