Stayed for two nights. The room was ok, the pub and food were great. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The area around the pub is surrounded by other great pubs and restaurants, so this is an ideal place to stay if in Liverpool for a few days.

My girlfriend and I were looking forward to a romantic weekend in what is titled' a 'boutique' hotel. While the staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the bed was very comfortable, there were some major shortcomings. When we arrived in our room we were greeted by two large pubes in the shower, albeit boutique pubes. I calmly washed... More

Stayed here this weekend just for one night, thank god! Pros: Lovely pub, bar manager (I think) was really nice & gave great customer service, pub food inc. Breakfast really nice. Cons: Room 1 is street side, and I was kept awake from 12 midnight to 5am by fighting, shouting, bottle smashing and traffic to rival the M25. The traffic... More

lovely pub, staff were really friendly and helpful, best breakfast we have ever had! Room recently refurbished quite modern and very clean, bed was comfy, only down side room had blinds that didn't keep out daylight. Would go back even though it was a bit pricey,

Stayed for one night after going to the football and it was a lovely pub with an amazing location for the City centre. Staff could not have been nicer all weekend and made it such a great stay for us. Food in the pub was excellent as well. Hotel room was nice but small and also there was an issue... More

Stayed for two nights in late August. Nice welcome from the manager Jack. Very pleasantly surprised by my room for the price. Clean, modern with nice shower room. Popped down to the pub, they had a lot of guest ales on and the food was reasonably priced and excellent to taste. Finally Joseph the owner came over to introduce himself. He... More

When we arrived we were treated very nicely and shown up to our room. The room was gorgeous and very modern. We had a twin room and it was perfect size. Tea and coffee so what more could you ask for. The bathroom was an ok size for us no complaints there. The downside was we seemed to be next... More

We stayed here during last week for my husband's graduation, and I was very pleased with this little but comfy B and B. The staff amazingly friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom small but nice, tidy and comfortable (specially the bed and the duvet). A little bit noisy during daytime as it is located in a very busy avenue... More
