What can I not say about this fantastic hotel? The hotel itself is on Scotland Rd 5 min can ride and around a 25/30 min walk (depending on the hangover) Scotland Rd is an old area of Liverpool and yes looks run down but the locals are fantastic (I will come back to this) Kevin (The Owner) Kevin is a... The hotel is close to the city 15 min walk and also close to both football grounds and markets the... More

Travelled back to this hotel 2 years after our first visit and we weren't disappointed. The same great staff, so friendly and ready to help out with any requests. Breakfast was great; the usual full-English cooked breakfast but with loads of choices apart from that. many cereals, fruit salad, breakfast bars etc etc. Plenty tea and coffee where you could... This hotel was the only one under £100 a night in Liverpool last night. The room was ensuite partly clean, tiny shower and everything was up 4-5 flights of stairs with no disabled access. The breakfast was ok, but the room where it was served down 5 flights, was derelict and in need of major works. The hotel in sandwiched between... More

We do NOT have disabled access as this is a listed building with no lift and we make anybody who needs it aware of it. If they still want to stay we make sure they are well looked after and we have had many guests who have taken advantage of the arrangements and returned for another stay. This couple did... More

Hi, Just sitting down to catch up on some emails and do some reviews from past experiences. Six of us went over to Liverpool for my brothers stag do. Five of us pre-planed flights and accommodation, one left it last minute. My experience was a while ago and I believe it was worth a review; also at the request of... More

On arrival we thought we had made a mistake coming to this hotel as the outside is not what we expected. BUT the mistake was jumping to conclusions. Our en-suite room was bright and spotlessly clean with free WIFI and drinks making facilities and the breakfast room had everything it needed and again was clean and welcoming. The breakfast choice... More

We stayed at this B&B last weekend on our recent trip to Liverpool and what a wonderful visit it was. The location is ideal if you are exploring as its within walking distance to both Anfield and the city centre. The reception staff were brilliant and really helpful and no request was too big or small. The hotel itself was... More

Really lovely bed and breakfast-type hotel, and within walking distance of Liverpool city centre (or a £4 taxi ride away), with free parking around the side which is surprising in a busy place like Liverpool. Close to both Anfield and Goodison park so good if visiting either of them, and the staff were brilliant and gave us more information about... More

Good points not many I'm afraid staff where very friendly and helpful. Lots of bad points, no parking, rooms run down even after a recent refurb. My shock was an exposed electrical socket in the dining room/ pub pool room if an inspector seen that this hotel would have been shut down. For £75 I was shocked at the quality... More
