Stayed at the Racquet Club at short notice. Arrived at the original hotel we booked, but found it to be unsatisfactory and so rang the Racquet club which was fully booked, but apartment 48 was available. Friendly female staff member took us to the apartment which is just over the rd from the hotel. Lovely, spacious, clean and contemporary apartment.... more

We attended a wedding at the Raquet Club it was lovely, as were the staff. The hotel - we were given the largest room in the hotel as the wedding had taken all the rooms - so we got first choice. The room was supposed to be the family room, it cost £110 and i slept on a chaise lounge... more

We don't have a family room at the Racquet Club. Whilst we try and make arrangements for guests who have children with them, our rooms are not designed with them in mind. Our rooms all have Double beds, and we have one extra rollaway bed that we can place on request. Normally if guests are bring additional children then they...

What a place!!!! We were staying there for a friends wedding, and if it wasnt for that we would have left. It takes you about an hour to find it, as it only has a small sign on the door and no one knows where it is at. Arrived and was greeted by a friendly receptionist, perhaps a little too... more

In May my Partner and I had our wedding here, not only did they cater to our and all of our guests (120) every single whim, they just went the extra mile every time. The catering was incredible both in the Restuarant and the actual event. The rooms are of a good size (high ceilings) with a modern yet classic... more

How wrong were we the place was just awful. The rooms were tiny and dirty. The toilet kept on... more

We booked into this room for a night out in Liverpool and on arrival were very impressed with the decor in the bar and reception area. Things were not so impressive when you got upstairs however! There was no central heating in our room and it had to be heated by a plug in radiator, this would have been less... more

Simply terrible. I'd rather sleep rough than stay there again. The place was too noisy, falling apart and was dirty. That's the good points out of the way, now for the bad ones.... more

Wow - what a very very bad hotel BUT what potential - it's a crime. A well-meaning business colleague in Liverpool booked this hotel for me and another colleague to stay in on Tuesday 11th July - I don't have the heart to tell him just how embarrassing it is so I'll tell all of you instead! Where will I... more

I stayed in Liverpool with my partner for a weekend and thought I'd pay a little bit extra and book a room that was a bit different to the usual Travel Lodge / City Inn type hotel. I saw the website and I think they had a two nights for the price of one offer, so it didn't really work... more
