The girl at the front desk very unhelpful, almost obnoxious. seemed only concerned with getting the fare for the room and then had no further interest. I booked 2 nights but did not stay the first night. I called ahead to let them know out of courtesy and to confirm that i could book in early the second day. The... more

This hostel also has apartments available which we stayed in. 90 euro for one bedroom apartment per night. It was great, all the mod cons you could ask for, really clean as if newly decorated. It's in a great location with lots of nice bars and restaurants close by. Really easily accessible from the airport by bus. I couldn't fault... more

My friend booked us in here so I did not know what to expect but I was pleasently supprised. Ok, the place could do with a lick of paint but it had a wonderful atmosphere, the staff were v friendly and helped us get to all the attractions and we got talking to some great travellers over tea and toast.... more

My stay was wonderful, staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. I was traveling alone & found many others doing the same. The kitchen was large & clean, with free bread & butter(2 toasters in kitchen) which came in handy! There was also a games room with pool table, etc. Rooms were shared (same sex), very clean, crisp white sheets(better than... more

This was my first stay in a hostel so I can't compare it to others; however, knowing it was a hostel I went in with lowered expectations. I wanted something cheap for one night so I booked the double room with its own bathroom. The front staff was always nice and helpful but they had reserved us for the wrong... more

Hostel is nice from outside, but inside corridors are quite narrow. Fire exits are located only at the front and back end. Beds are good, pillows are too hard for my comfort, and plastic casing of both make you feel sweaty overnight. To come short, it's great for people with very little money, but if you don't like above and... more

This Inn is a backpacker style. I had 4 other people in my room. Rooms were quite spacious but only had 2 single beds and a bunk in mine, no other facilities. Some had toilets, but most facilities were communal. There were kitchens, and internet facilities. The Inn is well situated within walking distance to the centre of Liverpool. For... more

When arriving at night, I found that Liverpool Inn had mixed up my booking and not registered my first night. As september is flat-hunting time for Liverpool students, most places were fully booked. I was misled by the receptionist into walking across Liverpool for a room, thinking he had checked availability in advance. When returning, I was for some reason... more

I cannot recommend the International Inn enough! The hostel, which is independantly run, is located on South Hunter Street (just off Hardman Street) and is an ideal location for anyone who wants to be slap-bang in Liverpool city centre, whether they are sight seeing or having a night out! The International Inn is excellent value at just £15 a night,... more
