Felt more like a B and B than a hotel but that is not a criticism. It is in a great location, close to car parking and the train station, university and shops. The room was cosy and nicely decorated with lots of mirrors, a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board and plenty of hangers and mirrors. When I... More

This hotel is more like a b and b, but this gives it character. We had room 5, at the back of the hotel, so fairly quiet. The hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely, with very good quality meat, the room was warm, comfy and cosy. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from... More

This is more boarding house than hotel but excellent value being almost half price of some other hotels over valentines weekend. We had a room at the front of hotel which was small but cosy😊 and a shared bathroom and shower which may not sound too appealing but was immaculatey clean. We were only about 5-10 mins from Liverpool 1 and all... Good value hotel and rooms were spacious enough. Rooms were slightly old fashioned but facilities were all functional. Good breakfast provided with friendly staff. Location is not bad located 10 mins walk away from Lime St station.

This is a lovely Hotel for the budget traveller. Super staff, great price and an excellent breakfast. Free wifi that worked very well and I had a nice enough room with a modern TV also. It was a bit noisy being on a main road but what do you expect a short walk from Lime Street Station, so no complaints... More

I will start with the negative, because it was my first impression. The walk from the station was like going into a rundown neighborhood. It was short though and not enough time to get concerned. The first impression of the place was exactly the same.. "Probably was nice, but now rundown". That's where the bad experience ended. The staff were... More

I am now regularly visiting Liverpool for work, and stayed several times at the Aachen. It is the best value hotel I have found with a fairly good location. The rooms are variably sized, some quite small and with slightly old decor but perfectly fine for my overnight stays. Reliable wi-fi on all my visits so far. The staff have... More

This hotel is a gem. How it does it for the money is a mystery. Friendly staff, superb food, comfy beds and a great location. Made to feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. When visiting Liverpool wouldnt use anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed for two nights Sunday/Monday We normally stay near the dock but thought we would try the Georgian quarter. We arrived at the hotel for 13.00pm as stated on the receipt to be told the room was not ready and to try nearer 14.30 when I questioned it the reply was we have had a home game... When I first booked this hotel for the cheap price, I thought it would be a little mediocre 2* b&b type hotel. This turned out to be more of a 4* hotel with a 2 star price. A small 10 minute walk into Liverpool City Centre, 10 minute bus ride to the 2 stadiums, what more could you want! Wifi... More
