Stayed here in February in a female dorm style room, had a good time! Kevin Sr (one of the owners) definitely makes it a warm and inviting place to stay. He's full of historical and Beatles related knowledge and will share some over a warm cup of tea on your arrival! Take his free Thursday evening Beatles tour! A good... More

booked this for my daughter who had an audition at LIPA and we couldn't get her into any of the recommended places. I looked on the website and was impressed so went ahead, Couldn't have made a better choice! 5 minutes away from LIPA, 10 mins from Lime St Station. Excellent facilities and most important - very secure and welcoming!... More

The hostel is 5 minutes away from the cathedral. 20-25 minutes away from both train station and caoach station on foot. The city centre (seaside) is also 20 minutes away on foot. While you are walking towards the seaside, you will be walking through crowded streets. The staff were very helpful. Before you ask, you will get every information about... More

I stayed for one night at this hostel on 5th December 2012 and could not ask for more. For £20, you genuinely have owners who display an interest in you and who want to addressany grievances you may have within the hostel. All the other guests where chatty and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms/showers were to a good standard. The... More

This hostel has a lot of character - probably due to the owner. Rooms and showers are standard. Breakfast is good, simply self serve but there is a lot on offer so you can fill up and spend less on lunch or dinner. Location is slightly out of city centre but it's a nice walk in anyway.

Kevin and Kevin, the father and son owners, are amazing, friendly, welcoming, helpful, cracking jokes and making tea. Bread, tea, coffee, and juice are provided for breakfast and there is a kitchen for making your own food (not the best hostel kitchen I've seen but certainly serviceable). The rooms and bathrooms are always clean. The staff are mostly young and... More

I absolutely loved this hostel. The members of the the staff were very friendly and always up for a chat in the dining room or kitchen and everything and anything. Kevin senior gives a free Beatles tour every thursday, for anyone staying at the hostel, which I very much recommend. No matter you are a fan of the Beatles or... More
