We stayed for 4 nights in June. We booked online at an excellent price of £156 for the room. We read the reviews and when we arrived it was just as expected. The room was small, very clean with white walls and a view over the river. The room reminded us of a cabin on a cruise ship especially the... More

Very reasonable accommodation right on the river front, walking distance to the Albert Dock and city centre. Room and shower area small but clean and tidy. Small bar and restaurant area clean and pleasant over looking the river. Limited menu but very good for the price. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lack of hanging space is an issue when staying... This hotel is nicely located along the water and at a walking distance from the attractions of the city. It is clean, very well managed. The rooms are solmewhat small. The breakfast is excellent for the price. You can have a drink on the terrasse in front of the river. The staff is really pleasant and very helpful.

Stayed overnight at the Dolby and was pleasantly surprised, our room was large with a comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with a good powerful shower. The hotel was easy to find and had lots of car parking spaces, excellent value for money .we will go back.

We stayed with our young son in a family room for five nights and as other reviews mention the rooms are compact but for a base it is great .The staff are caring and professional.. We also found the small restaurant overlooking the water surprisingly good.Though the menu appears to be average their chef Robbie however prepares the food in... More

A small, very clean room in a nice little hotel only 15 minutes slow walking from the centre of Liverpool. A large car park and easy to find. All the staff were very friendly and helpful; the bar stayed open for us. It is the ideal place for a cheap overnight stay in Liverpool.

Yes, the rooms are small. Yes, the bathrooms are small. But the friendliness of ALL the staff makes you forget all the shortcomings. Free wifi and parking along with easy access to all the city favourites means a sure return. Rooms and public areas are spotless

Stayed here for two nights during the week, the staff initially put us in the wrong room however this was quickly resolved. Very clean, room not the biggest but adequate for a couple of nights, however you will struggle to find a smaller bathroom anywhere in the world! Fantastic location however, 5 minutes from the docks if you are catching... More

We arrived very late at night tired and wet following a very long motorbike ride. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and even offered to hang our wet gear up so it would dry. The room itself is clean and functional but quite basic. The shower flooded quite easily but for a one night stop this hotel was ideal. The location... More
