With the Dolby Hotel I'm not too sure whether that was the intention of a group of women who obviously went there to drink and party. Unfortunately,... more

Stopped at the Dolby late September 09 with 2 friends, we booked a room for 3 people which is one of those with the single bunk over the double bed. I stopped in the bunk and found it comfy, unlike the 2 in the double bed. As the reviews state on here the rooms aren't very big and the shower... more

I came to Liverpool for a customer conference, as a customer, so the accomodation was chosen for me. On arrival the staff were amazing (some were really pretty too, the ladies that is). The room is a bit pokey, but if you're staying for 1-3 days, you won't notice. They provided a television which had somewhat lousy image quality, snow... more

The Dolby is conveniently located for what we needed it for. It was reasonably cheap for £50 a night for a triple room. The rooms were relatively small, but I was expecting this after seeing photos of the hotel. Bathroom was quite tiny, the kind of sized bathroom I got used to through staying in various amounts of student halls... more

I booked a 2 night stay at the Dolby for myself and my husband for his birthday treat. We live in Essex, so Liverpool is far enough away from us to be considered as a mini-break, not just a day trip. We had a tour of Anfield booked for the Tuesday (28.07.2009), so I bought train tickets for the Monday... more

I stayed here for one evening as I was attending a conference at the BT Convention Centre the following day. The conference organisers had listed the Dolby as a hotel near the conference centre and as it was only £50 for a double room it seemed a good choice. On arrival in Liverpool I'd seen that the Dolby was only... more

We stayed with our 2 year old son and felt very comfortable and welcomed by the staff-they even asked him to draw them a picture which they then hung in reception. The location is excellant, lovely views and short walking distance to attractions and shops. The dining room was lovely-great views, very relaxed and good food at pub prices. The rooms are small, basic... more
