Firstly this hotel is amazing value for money. A twin room cost us £45 and it was excellent. The location of the hotel is a bit out of town, so it may not be suitable for everyone, but then not being located in a busy/noisy city can also be an advantage. We took a taxi from Liverpool Lime Street station... more

I and my girlfriend were beginning our vacation in Scotland and the most cost-effective option was to land and Liverpool and rent a car there. However, we had to spend a night in the city, so we booked at the Devonshire Hotel. Frankly. I can't understand the bad reviews this place got. The room was very comfortable and clean, and... more

This hotel is perfect to stay in on business. I found it good value @£45/night incl an adequate breakfast. It has a lot more charm than the chain hotels. The staff were friendly & helpful and the free wifi means that my skype phone worked perfectly. It has great parking and a back entrance which means that you don't have... more

Not in the best part of town, although handy for the motorway, and a quick getaway. Staff were friendly. Hotel's seen better days. My room was very spacious, and quiet, although the decor a bit dated. Bed was old and not very comfortable, and I was getting warm water from both taps in the (otherwise ok) bathroom. Breakfast was fine. more
