We were charged £145 for a clean but very basic room, 2nd floor, no lift. The Alicia further up the road and a lot better quality would have been cheaper, but was fully booked. Breakfast would have been another £7.95 each.No air-conditioning and the bed is really hard. The restaurant and bar area were good and the staff friendly, but... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and it was perfect. View on park is fantastivs. Also there is restaurant and pub in this hotel. Prices there are not high enough. Also we really loved the bed and pillows in this hotel. They are perfect.

I'm giving the Sefton park hotel a 5 for purely the great evening we had. We held our evening wedding reception here on the 7th June. Prior to the actual event we had good communication with Connor via email and personal meetings. As part of the deal for holding the party here we had a B&B overnight stay, a few... More

This was classed as a budget hotel, so we weren't sure what to expect. However, it was clean and serviceable and we were able to take our dog with us. Unlike the previous reviewer, I was told upfront about the extra charge for the pet - perhaps because I booked directly. The staff were young, helpful and enthusiastic and the... More

We stayed at the Sefton Park Hotel this week (Monday and Tuesday 26/27th May) Its a great location right on the park and a really easy commute into the wonderful city of Liverpool. We booked the hotel as we used to live close to Lark Lane and found a good deal of £42 per room per night on the basis... More

We stayed there in emergency after our uncomfortable experience with the Stalbridge Guest House (see other review). We booked the room on the day of our arrival with absolutely no problems. It wasn`t cheap at all, but what can you expect 10 hours before arrival? Anyway, it was the cheapest I could find. The location is wonderful, with an amazing... More

We visited the Sefton Park for one night only on a flying visit to Liverpool and we're delighted by our choice.A friendly hassle free welcome and two we'll equipped modern rooms awaited. The hotel, while steeped in history has been tastefully renovated inside with a small welcoming bar with a view over the adjoining park.No hesitation in booking again in the... More

Choosing the hotel was more down to convenience than anything else as it was near to where we were going for a christening but what a great location it turned out to be! Right across from sefton park which is beautiful and a great walk was had first thing but let's not forget another great quality....the staff. A warm welcome... More

I stayed here one night during my trip to Liverpool. My sole purpose for the stay was because this was the former home of Stuart Sutcliffe. The room was nice an clean. The park across the road was beautiful. The restaurant and bar was elegant. The best part was the extremely nice and helpful staff. If I ever return to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sefton Park Hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian Villa overlooking the Boating Lake in Sefton Park, the largest park in Liverpool. It is one of the original detached houses on the perimeter of the park where rich merchants and shipping magnates once lived in style. Today it offers a warm friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation and quality food and drink which is served in Astrid's Bar and Michelngelo's Italian Restaurant. More modern history confirms that 'The Blenheim' was, infact, the family home of the fifth Beatle, Stuart Sutcliffe in the 1960s. Stuart's family continued to live here until 1970. ... more   less
