Read all the previous reviews & totally agree with most of them. Stayed here for 2 nights on a stag party {33 of us}. Rooms are pretty basic & generally clean. However the toilet in our room had not been cleaned & the wire connection from the tank to the flush handle was broken. Spoke to reception & repair man... More

My two friends and I stayed here whilst we attended the 175 years of Cunard Celebrations. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Lime Street Rail Station and 5 minutes walk from the shopping centre. It has an ideal situation. The room was clean, beds comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and... More

Just stayed couple of nights here for the first time, hotel in great location but rooms & corridors looked tired. Reception area was nice & spacious, no Sky sports although was advertised on website & front door! Cheap prices to stay, under £50 for the two nights accommodation. Our room was tiny with 2 single beds in, bathroom with shower... More

Great location for the city centre near to Lime Street station. Great price for comfy, clean rooms. The staff are friendly and the bar downstairs comes in handy. Stayed with a stag do and it's ideal for that but they do a good job of limiting the noise to make sure everyone gets a good night's sleep.

Me my daughter and friend stayed for two nights here . It was next to the station and right in the centre for everything . The room was nice and cleaning couldn't fault it My room was off the street and was very quiet but my other travellers slept along by the street which they said was a bit noisy... More

Really friendly staff, especially George the maintenance man, who dropped us out to Aintree and Katy who gave us a good laugh;-). The hotel is grand for what is is, rooms are big, have clean linen, towels and a big telly etc. There is a also bar downstairs. If you are looking for somewhere to stay close to the city... More

Fantastic location - 1 min walk from the train station and bars of city centre - we had 4 rooms in total for fri/sat night - 2 near the lifts n 2 near the stairs - the ones near the lifts were better as the lifts stopped between 9:30pm n 8am - I was in one near the stairs, would... More

Having read previous reviews, very nearly decided to forego my paid fees and go elsewhere. So glad I didn't!! Stayed on a Tuesday night. Hotel was very quiet. Check in was very efficient and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless (and from someone who works in a similar industry, this is a true compliment) .... More

Stayed here last weekend when over for the Liverpool v Man Utd game. Firstly, the staff were very pleasant, especially the girls at breakfast. The rooms were big, the linen fresh, so no problems there. The carpets however were awful. Years of ground in dirt & hair. The shower in our room didn't work, was cold only, however we were... More
