The hotel is across from Lime St. Station and next door to the O2 acadamy. All of Liverpool amenities are on the doorstep. The hotel has been taken over and is starting a much needed makeover. The corridors are looking really tired and the floors creak like crazy. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bar area is nice.... More

My daughter and I stayed here in 2 single rooms for about £30 each( including breakfast) and for this money it was great. It is just behind Lime st station and within walking distance to shops restaurants etc. Single rooms are small and basic but clean . They were warm but we got fans from the reception. It was nice... 10 of us went to stay at the Lord Nelson it was a nice friendly atmosphere. Fairly priced. bar stays open till the last man falls. All staff are friendly and chatty and not to far for the night life. I'd stay there again without fail.

Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for a night on the 4th of August. We had gotten the train to Lime Street and exited via the Lord Nelson exit, as soon as you exit the station you can see the hotel which was ideal. When we arrived at the hotel check in was very quick and even though... More

we stayed here just one night as we were going to a wedding nearby. The location is great - next to Lime Street Station although we took the car and used the 24 hour car park just up the road. The staff were friendly & helpful and the reception area has been refurbished nicely. Our room was very basic with... More

Friendly & efficient staff at Reception particularly Lynn who quickly moved us to a quite room at the rear when I told her about the street noise keeping us awake on our first night. The rooms are clean and adequate and good value for money - comfortable bed,tea/coffee facilities & plenty towels. The continental breakfast is more than adequate although... More

Quick checkin with very friendly and helpful staff. Twin room was a bit tight, but only due to two very comfy double beds. Nice! Bathroom clean, and the good sized bath was very welcome after a long day. Continental buffet breakfast included in price. Bar service available on ground floor round the clock at normal pub prices. Hot day, no... More

Stole a deal at under GBP40 for a single room. Right next to Lime Street Station. Reasonable breakfast included. Friendly staff. Clean and feel safe. Room is understandably small, but clean and bathroom very functional. Free wifi was unstable in room but much better at public places. Lift only reaches 2nd floor. Need to take stairs for 3rd. It was... More
