Stayed one night Very clean and really handy if you are going to see show in Empire, only across the road from Lime Street Station. I would definitely use this hotel again. The only drawback was that all Windows were frosted glass so you couldn't see outside, but as we were out most of the time it didn't really affect us. I... Stayed here for 1 night after going to theatre . Bed was ok. Room was clean but very tatty. Bathroom was bigger than bedroom. It's ok if you are on a boozy weekend and just want to get your head down somewhere but for the money we paid would have expected it to be slightly better.

Booked this hotel due to the location. 2 min from railway station, 5 min into town. Staff very friendly but thats just normal because the people that live in Liverpool are all friendly. Staff very helpful cant do enough for you. I was very disappointed with the room though, it was clean enough dispite the walls being dirty. For £125... More

Stayed 2 nights last weekend whilst attending a conference in the Liner across the road. It was pretty much as I expected for the price in a City centre hotel. As has been alluded to, staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was basic and in a need of some work done to it, but it was reasonably clean... More

Stayed in the Lord Nelson for 2 nights Fri - Sun. The room itself was modern, well equipped and reasonably clean although the wall above the headboard could have done with a clean and there were hairs behind the bathroom door! The hallways, corridors, stairs and doors to the rooms however needed a radical makeover - very tatty, well used... More

Read all the previous reviews & totally agree with most of them. Stayed here for 2 nights on a stag party {33 of us}. Rooms are pretty basic & generally clean. However the toilet in our room had not been cleaned & the wire connection from the tank to the flush handle was broken. Spoke to reception & repair man... More

My two friends and I stayed here whilst we attended the 175 years of Cunard Celebrations. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Lime Street Rail Station and 5 minutes walk from the shopping centre. It has an ideal situation. The room was clean, beds comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and... More

Just stayed couple of nights here for the first time, hotel in great location but rooms & corridors looked tired. Reception area was nice & spacious, no Sky sports although was advertised on website & front door! Cheap prices to stay, under £50 for the two nights accommodation. Our room was tiny with 2 single beds in, bathroom with shower... More

Great location for the city centre near to Lime Street station. Great price for comfy, clean rooms. The staff are friendly and the bar downstairs comes in handy. Stayed with a stag do and it's ideal for that but they do a good job of limiting the noise to make sure everyone gets a good night's sleep.
