Great wee value hotel. Alex is a top guy. The place is clean and it has a great cafe just underneath the hotel itself. Yes it's basic but hell for the money it's probably the best value hotel in Liverpool by far. They give you your own refrigerator in the communal kitchen, there is even free breakfast stuff for you... More

Enjoyed our stay here. Alex checked us in, he was super nice and informative. Our room, the common areas, toilet and bathroom we're all really clean. Our room was spacious, had a sink, dresser, clothes rack, heater and tv. Free breakfast and bottled water. Pretty much next door to the train station (only 2 stops into the city) I think... More

The hostel is cheap and comfortable. The area wasn´t good because it´s around factories but the receptionist was nice. The toilet didn´t work the days we were there and the placard of the building did a lot of noise at night but at least it was only 2 train stops from the city centre. Do kyung

Stayed there in November for a match at Anfield. Old building central to both the city and the stadium. Hotel manager was a 10/10, helpful with everything asked of him. Room was adequate with a comfortable bed, hand basin, heating and room to hang clothing. No lift/elevator to the upper floors. Very clean and well serviced communal kitchen with washing... More

First rate hostel with easy access into Liverpool by train (£3 for a day return). Public areas were clean and the large kitchen was well equipped for cooking as well as housing the free breakfast ingredients - juice, fruit, yoghourt, cereals, bread, jam, tea and coffee. At the weekends, the location is quiet but gets busier on weekdays due to... More

The man who accomodated our stay literally could not have been nicer. The rate per night was extremely reasonable and perfect for then cash strapped students! Located very conveniently right by a train station. All this and unlimited orange juice in the fridge to cure a hangover! Oh and a lovely big entertainment room with Sky.

We really enjoyed our stay. I would say this is a hostel not a hotel, it should be renamed because it serves as an excellent hostel. We turned up without a booking and they were able to accommodate us. Very nice staff. The location is fantastic, right next to a train station with regular services to the city centre for... More
