me and my son stay for one night. warm friendly welcome on arrival. ten minutes walk from train station and only 15 mins into liverpool centre with regular trains. large clean room. very comfy bed. bathroom needs a little TLC but fulfilled our needs. breakfast was nice plenty on your plate to set you up for the day.

We stayed one night here to go into Liverpool but thought £69 was a bit steep for what was provided. Having read other reviews I agree that the carpets needed cleaning, the cold tap swivelled round when you turned it on and there was not much in the way of tea or coffee and no toiletries, which you would expect... One night stay single room shared facilities. Dirty room, torn curtains. Shower broken nearly got scalded. Carpets haven't been cleaned in years. Looks very tired and shabby. unfriendly greeting.Only redeeming feature cooked breakfast was just about OK.

This hotel has to be the worse that I've ever stayed in. Its an absolute sh8t hole. Cold, dirty and stinks. Take this review on-board and stay well away. I really don't understand how this place can get 3 stars

Firstly I would like to state that I would of over looked all the negatives if they were much friendlier over breakfast. It wasn't the best and even though I ordered my husbands, before 9:30 as he was on his way. I heard screeching from the kitchen that the women was refusing to make it. They didn't even attempt to... Stayed here with friends for Liverpool match, we'd left booking a hotel last min, as we wouldn't be in the hotel much we thought this place would do. How wrong we were! This place is like your worst nightmare. Please listen to all the reviews this place is awful. The welcome was far from welcoming it was rude, the communal areas... More

I have no idea how this place got three stars from Visit England. I was shown to the room I had booked and was immediately hit by the smell of damp and then had to ask for towels. In fact although I had paid in advance for two nights I left a couple of hours later and paid again to... More

Three of us, two adults and a child, were booked in for 3 nights to be close to family for a wedding. The excitement of a short holiday turned to shock as we entered the hotel and our room to find, not a relaxing and welcoming place, but a place you would not let your dog sleep in. It felt... More
