Stayed here for a couple of nights in early Feb. Was pleasantly surprised by the reception, bar and restaurant but unfortunately that was as good as it got. Our room reminded us of a Premier Inn from around 20 years ago. It just looked and felt very tired and out of date. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night and must say its the worst hotel we have stayed in. The Hotel seems to cater more for lager louts as the noise was horrendous. The shouting and slamming of doors during our stay was enough to put us off. The restaurant food was so poor, we had to eat out. If we... More

Initially it wasnt too bad, room was OK and had the bare essentials, although breakfast had been booked, we were told it would cost XYZ depending on what we'd have... So why 'include' breakfast if you still have to pay... Checking out was a nightmare as they were going to charge a LOT more than the price we'd booked for... More

Our room was nice and big for 2 adults and 1 six year old. The staff were friendly, and the food was ok. We liked the fact that rather than paying one price for breakfast, you paid for what you wanted. The doors to the room were quite heavy, and made a loud bang when closed which was a little... More

Me and friend stayed at the Campanile when visiting Liverpool for a weekend. The location is great. Right on the docks and only a £4 taxi ride in to town. The bar and reception are fairly modern, however the room itself was very dated with poor lighting making it look dark and drab. The beds however, were very comfortable and... More

Got exactly what we paid for cheap hotel with cheap decor . For the price can't really complain. If it was more costly and wanted a cheap hotel would have gone to a travel lodge . Picked this hotel because wanted a cheap stay in Liverpool and that's what we got , Staff not the best or the rooms but... More

The location was chosen by its proximity to the Echo Arena for The Corrs concert and the online booking was very easy with the bonus of only paying when we arrived. The price of the two rooms I booked included a Breakfast offer, free parking and wifi. The friendly and efficient reception staff were very welcoming and we could take... More

One night solo overnight stay as I was attending an event at the Empire Theatre. The room was fairly basic, had a double bed with decent enough bedding. Shower was adequate. Nice sized plasma screen television which was good. The restaurant and bar were being renovated so I was directed to the Casino next door for my breakfast. One of... More

Stayed 2 nights Sat /Sun . Sat was very over priced £130 (friends already booked so we stayed as well) . Sun was about right at £40. It is very basic . Staff were very good. Quite a long walk to city centre.
