My son and I recently stayed in a twin room at the Campanile. Front desk staff were a bit surly but got the jog done. The room itself was quite large and clean, but the facility seemed rather old and run down. The hallways smelled musty. There was no air conditioning, and opening the screenless window to cool our room... More

Good value for money. Hotel is spotless and the beds very comfortable. The downside was a that I was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. Having recently injured my knee it was a slow process descending the stairs. In addition I had to get a new swipe card twice and this needed a visit to reception as... More

After phoning several hotel chains such as ibis and holiday inn, I found this delightful hotel. Hotel was very central, 7 minute walk from Albert doc (or £3 in a taxi if your wanting to save yourself walking in heals!) and about a 10 minute walk to the actual centre. Rooms were very clean, little dealing with the staff as... More

Although small and needing some updating the rooms are clean and the bedding comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful when we were there. The breakfasts were good and cooked to order. This hotel makes a good base for exploring Liverpool. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good budget hotel.

Used this Hotel 3 times now when going to see various shows at the Echo Arena, it's about a 5 minute walk and there are plenty of places in the Albert Docks to grab a meal and drink first. You do get what you pay for so don't expect 5* but it's clean and tidy, the staff are well presented... More

If you want to stay in a shabby, tatty, grim hotel this is the place for you - You can be kept awake all night by drunks trying to get into your room by mistake & constant banging of doors or people shouting for friends to let them in (up until 5am if you're lucky) - You can shower in... More

Fabulous priced hotel. We got two nights for £98 and for the location was very good. The rooms are average. I think the cleaning could do with a bit more care and attention but overall clean enough where it counts. We ate a breakfast and a dinner here which was mediocre. There are two fast food restaurants directly across the... More

I visited this hotel with my 12 year old daughter, a friend and her 18 year old daughter for a concert in the Echo Arena. The hotel sits right on the Albert Docks and is a 5 min walk from the Arena. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Across the road is... More
