Stayed one night in standard room which was excellent price and we were not disappointed. On arrival staff at reception were friendly, helpful and offered to look for a room with a view over river. Arrived for a weekend break and all seemed well untill the room ! Very small including the bed , bathroom and room lacked a feel factor! This hotel is much less impressive than it looks and needs refurbishing and a much better standard of room care. One of the friendliest receptionists we have ever been greeted by. The hotel is in a fantastic location, if you are travelling to Liverpool by ferry it is literally a 2 minute walk. Everything you could wish for is on your doorstep and our room overlooked the Liver Buildings and the River Mersey. Fantastic. More

just because it was football we had to pay 30.00 over the usual rate for our room. room had a great view but with single pane glass was a bit cold & noisy. Hard mattresses so not a good nights sleep. Otherwise a very bland hotel. More
