Well located by the famous Liver Building and good views of the river, we enjoyed a very comfortable stay here to celebrate my 70th birthday.
Our room was on the top floor with a view across the river, although we did pay extra for this room.

Front of hotel is above a very busy, noisy road so ask for a room at the rear if you are a light sleeper.
Reasonably priced car parking (£6 per 24 hours) available within 200 yards but you can drop your cases and then park up.

Stayed in 1208, i asked for a top floor room away from lifts and i got it, wasn't too bothered about getting a view but its on the mersey side and 'wow'. Room was excellent, good quality with aircon (that worked), bathroom a bit pokey but hey you don't stop in the bathroom

Good location near the river & Albert Docks. Rooms were new-ish & clean, but a little basic. Hotel bar was ok. Good value if you get a deal. Worth signing up to the Thistle hotels signature programme to get vouchers for free lunches & free stays.

Friendly, efficient staff. Room very clean with good views. Did not eat or drink in the hotel so cannot comment on food or drink. Good location for shopping & nightlife.
