Booked for my dad's 65th birthday - also had my 8 month old baby with us. we got a refurbished room on the 9th floor with a great view over the Mersey. We also got a corner room possibly because we had a cot - it was a great size and the decor was really stylish - flat screen tv... more

currently in the middle of a two night stay at the Atlantic tower. on arrival things looked promising, nice reception and friendly staff. things started to go down hill when i got in the room, i'd lucked out and got one of the old rooms. Curtains rail parting from the ceiling, dubious stains on the wallpaper, holes in the wall,... more

My wife and myself have just returned from a 3 day break at the Atlantic Tower Hotel Liverpool. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. I am writing this review to thank all the staff, especially Alexandra in the reservations department, as everytime I book a reservation Alex andra is extremley helpful and courtious and she... more

Arrived here on june 12th with my husband, the hotel is in a fantastic location with our room facing the entrance to the ferry on the mersey and the liver building. The staff were more than helpful especially when my husband took ill during the night. Couldn,t have asked for a better location, Liverpool people are so friendly and everything... more

Magnificent views from the higher floors of the liver buildings and docklands. Although watch out for window cleaners doing the rounds outside your window! I've stayed in this place at least 3 times for weekend football trips and it is always a pleasant stay. The bar does tend to close a bit early, but there is a decent buffet breakfast... more

In Liverpool for a large conference at the "Echo" Centre. My office could only get me a room here.Having glanced at the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor I did not expect much. I found , however, this hotel perfectly acceptable. It is centrally located.Check in/ out was efficient. The stardard room was a bit small ; but it was well equiped and the... more

Me and my husband stayed here along with some friends for a night out and a bit of a change. I was a bit worried by some of the reviews but they were unfounded, for me. Our room was on the 9th floor and was nice and clean, although a bit small. Flat screen TV with a good range of... more

We stayed at the Thistle for one night (for Liverpool V Newcastle). The initial girl I spoke to over the phone in order to book was very friendly and helpful. Staff when there were fine. The lobby is very attractive and the central situation ideal. Price paid for the room was about £65 but it was good value for the... more

After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor I was a little apprehensive about the standard of the room. However on arrival we opened the door to a good sized room with a stunning view of the city. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. The walls were thin, but no worse than other hotels we have stayed in.... more
